Stolen art (?)

So, I just saw Sodo's post about his birthday, im very happy he received so much love and even came out of his social media hibernation to thanks everyone :)

But I also wanted to say something...

I understand how the internet works, I really do, so usually don't care too much about my art being stolen, I get that it happens, unfortunately...

But I must admit that it hurt me a bit to see something I did being traced and claimed as someone else's, and posted by the subject himself...

I'm not blaming him at all let's be clear here!

I don't want to start drama about this, there is no need, I just needed to vent a bit.

I think tracings is a great tool to improve, and I have done it myself too when I started drawing. Clearly the artist is young and didn't mean to hurt anybody with it, they just did something nice for someone they like, probably never fought someone else would see it, so I'm happy they got noticed, honesty, must have been so exciting for them :)

I don't post much and don't tag the people I draw because I feel, like I'm burdening them, like a child showing their mom their shitty drawings (this is just about me), so I honestly never fought he would see it at all, I guess that in a way I'm happy my art got to him in some way?

P.s.

So... just found the head is stolen too from another artist, this is kind of disappointing 😔
