i’m so tired of that depressing -dark drama- aspect to most modern teen shows! It is o k to create a show aimed at teens where the main theme isn’t murder ! we deserve cute shows about magic and fairies too 🥺

*season 2 spoilers*

just finished season 2 and omg this show is so good?!! please ! don’t ! get ! cancelled !

these kids have been through 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵! but also kinda glad they ᵈᶦᵈⁿ'ᵗ ᵍᵉᵗ ᵒᶠᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᶦˢˡᵃⁿᵈ because that means there is a third season! 😈

the “villains” were kinda *meh* and felt kinda out of place. Why were they the first ones here and not some form of rescue? Not even a helicopter to look for possible survivors? Unrealistic to think that the kids would be the only ones still there. Also the villains’ motives? Killing dinosaurs? okkk...lol 😒why tho 

seeing the kids bond and learn survival techniques made for an interesting season. (who knew they were such masterful carpenters capable of building a treehouse ! with actual plumbing? love that! ) 

the action and animation was so satisfying and beautiful though! I got chills during that water hole scene ! ahh i wish i was a dinosaur peacefully drinking that -delicious- looking water with my dino friends 🥰

idk why i typed out this love letter to an animated kids show but here you go anyway! I think its the 3am post binge watch delirium kicking in.

Why do they leave Ben behind? Didn’t they jump off the monorail and fall the same distance? They survived but why do they assume Ben died. :( I didn’t expect this show to traumatize me like that.

Ellie and Paul were giving me serious Joe Goldberg from YOU vibes when they were parked outside Aster’s house spying on her family dinner. The movie was great but the stalking scenes were kinda creepy.

The narration was annoying. They tried to have a ‘Jane the Virgin’ storytelling style but it just felt off. Maybe they could have had the characters take turns being the narrator.

It’s refreshing to see the Devi be assertive and actually confront Paxton about her feelings towards him in the first episode. I was prepared for the overused trope of the awkward girl obsessing over a guy from afar.

Sex Education season 2 is so amazing. Never had I watched a show that was so funny one scene and then left me in tears in the next scene. It really normalizes sexuality and portrays being a teenager realistically. Also, all the characters are so damn likable.

Kat’s mania

Was anyone else frustrated when Kat’s obvious mania was ignored by those around her? Her friends might have not known the signs but shouldn’t her sister have realized? Maybe it was only made obvious to us viewers.

Autism and humor?

Does anyone else not react or understand why something might be perceived as funny to others? Like if someone says a joke and the class starts laughing so you have to also force yourself to laugh. You might understand why the line was funny but your body just does not react. sorry if this post does not make sense.

New Characters Deserve Better

The new frozen 2 characters were only made to sell more toys. Why did they each only get a few lines that were not even important to the plot? Honeymaren and Ryder did not do anything important. Mattias was there for no reason because he did not help with anything. I'm not hating on these characters I just don’t understand why they were not given more to do.
