The noise of the leaves made the Siren’s head turn. Eyes growing large as a wolf came dashing towards here at lighting speed. Razorsharp teeth exposed and ready. The siren did the only thing her defence system could think of, the normal reaction for a siren in danger. Her lips parted and a bloodstilling scream killed all the other noises in the area. There was no sweetness on her lips anymore. Her natural side had shown in the form of a numbing noise that would make most want to cover their ears and hide as quickly a they could. The brunette could only hope she would have the same effect of wolves.
Cass sprinted at top speed towards the siren, the distance between them narrowing to almost nothing in the blink of an eye, the prey virtually within her grasp now. The smell of the prey was so overwhelming now that she could practically taste it, spurring her on further, beads of saliva flying from her jaws. She wanted nothing better than to sink her teeth into the siren’s flesh. Not expecting any resistance, she was taken by surprise when the prey suddenly let out a horrifying sound, stopping her dead in her tracks from the shock of it.
