Did a style experiment with a MudWing a bit ago- usually I draw all the scale details or do a simplified cartoony version, reminiscent of the AnimatedWings style. I wanted to figure out a middle ground so I can draw WoF dragons more often but still preserve some detail. For the MudWing that meant keeping the lateral line, the back plates, and the grid scales on the underside (personal HC). This was also an experiment in coloring sketches, since I haven't really done that in the past. And I did a little dressup- two commoner outfits and a noble official. Designing clothes around a patagium is certainly a challenge. Anyway. The commoners tend to dress practically, with short sleeves that won't get muddy, often with striped patterns to deter flies. Bags and hats are common too, usually made of straw/reeds, leather, or cloth. The noble has longer clothes (though they still don't drag on the ground like royal clothes do) and is wearing gloves and socks to keep their feet clean (and to show that they don't need to tread through mud by having clean gloves). This one has their clan insignia, a pink lotus, on display. Also tusk caps to look less threatening/for ornamentation, and a pen tucked into their hat to write with.

Another RTTS Centaur I did. Probably referenced the Pahk formal clothing from the First Contact short story a bit too much, but I'll likely play a bunch of dressup with these characters and make them more outfits. Anyway this one's Verva, a male Pahk/Chuchae taur. Haven't come up with much more info than that yet.

Showcasing a base I made that I will be using for adoptables and gonna talk about some of my LeafWings HCs.

So I'm not one to drastically alter Joy Ang's designs, as I'm quite fond of them, I do definitely put my own spin on them. First of all, LeafWings are a climbing tribes (same with Rains and Silks), so I gave them monkey features - mobile shoulders, plantigrade feet (though this pose isn't great at showing that), opposable big toes, and in the case of LeafWings, longer legs than arms. They run along braches, and don't brachiate like RainWings do. Their tails are still a little prehensile, but not nearly as much. The teeth are inspired by the thylacoleo, another arboreal predator. LeafWing wings are short and round, made for tight turns and speed, but not great at long distance flight. Their tail fin can look like a variety of different leaves. Finally, their horns are now branch resembling antlers. Well, I'm not sure if they should be shedding them, so they might not be true antlers. Those can also vary in shape. LeafWings are one of the smallest, of not the smallest dragons on average, to move through dense foliage easier. They're pretty lanky on average, but individuals vary in size and shape. They're mostly green and/or brown, but can have a variety of arbitrary colors mixed in.

LeafWings in Tales From Caenis (my headworld) can partially photosynthesize due to symbiosis with an algae, which enters their cells while they're in the egg. Kinda like the spotted salamander. This makes their skin and blood green. They can also secrete toxic mucus from their skin, resembling sticky sap, which causes chemical burns and blisters, worsening when exposed to sunlight (phototoxicity). It can blind if it gets into one's eyes. Probably deadly if ingested/enters the bloodstream. They can release it rapidly and at will.

I redid this- colored with gradients for more detail and I think the anatomy makes more sense now. I'll be using this one as a base instead.

Made a RRTS Centaur OC. I've fallen in love with RTTS lately so there will be more related art from me.

This is Ngatu, an eshik Centaur from the Daewirgh ethnicity. Haven't figured out more details about them yet.

I've only started putting clothes on characters recently, so I'm not sure how to make patterns make sense sewing wise yet.

I rather enjoy making these. Technically they're for an arpg called Girfugol, but I tend to have trouble actually writing out characters so they end up as just designs with no identity. Some I put up as free adoptables in the discord, some I might repurpose for my own griffin project.
