Beautiful fall day

Ulysses is so cool. Like every day I look over and am like “I’ve got the sickest furby in the world”. And like, the coolest part is when I remember seeing that beautiful soft black fabric at my parents house ever since I was like, a toddler. My mom bought that fabric probably close to 30 years ago and saved it for a future sewing project, and that project ended up being Ulysses. I love thinking back to when my mom and I made him together, and what a fun bonding experience that was. Every day I’m thankful that I had the amazing privilege (and a mom that went to art school, I could not have made such a beautiful thing on my own) to make my own long furby and have those memories.
