REJECTION IS JUST REDIRECTION:

When you put your all into an application or relationship and get rejected it can hurt.

But maybe it's time we redefine what rejection means. Essentially, rejection is just a redirection. Maybe you weren't the best candidate for the position but something better is coming. Maybe the relationship didn't work out the way you planned, but maybe that rejection is saving you from something!

Reframing our mindset when negative things happen to us is essential to success.

I get rejected from brand partnerships and job applications daily and I still don't let that deter me from my goals. I see it as a redirection to something greater that I couldn't even fathom for myself and so should you!

The person in the mirror is your only competition.

Stop comparing yourself to people who are on a different path than you. Even if you have the similar goals, your path is your own. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is you!

Look at where you are compared to where you used to be, are you happy with that progress? Did you think you would be further than you are? Are you where you planned to be? These are things you should be asking yourself rather than why am I not where so and so is.

Did you know I served in Cambodia for the United States Peace Corps?

I worked in a rural community health center where I delivered babies, assisted with family planning, provided educational information about pregnancy, and taught English! My experience truly shaped who I am today and is one of the main reasons I decided to become a content creator!

We've been in a pandemic for almost two years now and our bodies have changed.

To be honest, this is the heaviest I've ever been and I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand I want to love the body I'm in and on another hand I want a BBL expeditiously. Lol

I'm learning to embrace my body no matter the size. My size doesn't dictate my character or personality. It doesn't affect my skill set or intelligence. And it sure as hell doesn't play a role in my beauty!

So this woman crush Wednesday I encourage you to love your body where it's at.

What's your fall makeup prep routine?

#tbt❤ Do you feel comfortable traveling again? Travel for me is a necessity. It revitalizes me. It helps me learn about different cultures. And it's starting to become an expensive habit lol

Next week I'm traveling to another country and I'm too excited! Now that I'm vaccinated I feel a lot more comfortable traveling and I'm also very vigilant about adhering to covid regulations to keep myself and others safe.
