By now we all know who Enbridge is, the same compant responsible for Pipline 3. Down here in South Texas, we have an oil company called Moda. This organization, Indigenous People's of the Costal Bend, is an oraganization that is founded by this beautiful indigenous woman, Love Sanchez. This intertribal organization is made up of Lipan Apache, Mexica, Karankawa and other amazing indigenous tribes that all come together to protect our bay, our environment, our water, and raise important awareness on indigenous issues that we face today.
They currently have a lawsuit in place against the company Moda, and guess who comes in and decides to buy the company? Enbridge. Despite this, this lawsuit will go on. This video is to help highlight was is going on down here, so please boost this video, and their video. We're stronger together. /End Transcript]

The Corpus Christi bay already suffers hugely from oil exports and shipping that damage the bay and surrounding wildlife and water, as well as polluting communities near it. Their proposed expansion will increase exportation traffic causing further damage, as well as encompassing an area called McGloin's Bluff, which is a Karankawa sacred site.
the Indigenous People's of the Costal Bend group, the Karankawa tribe of the Costal Bend, and Ingleside on the Bay Costal Watch Association have filed a federal lawsuit against Moda for not addressing environmental and community concerns as required under the National Environmental Policy Act and the Clean Water Act.
