a long sigh escapes him at the response. of course. "you wouldn't be a burden." hayate admits with some effort, his hands coming up to his face as he ducks his head down. in the silence, he fights off an admission. if anything, he stops himself from saying, it's me that would be burdensome to you. "if you're not the bravest in the face of lightning, then don't go. simple."
