i fell into the pit(t) and found new sad characters to think about. i love how the fandom looked at Dennis, his anxious and sad looking face, the fact that he's a farm boy who majored in theology before switching to medicine and said: ''this boy has so much religious trauma and guilt plus masive family issues'' and then wrote whole fics about it

and then a week back, i found a really good fanfic (The car's in reverse by third_crow), that motivated my burned out brain and body to draw for fun again. According to krita it took me 8 hours to finish this and for the whole time i listened to one song and one song only (Noah Kahan - The View Between Villages which also inspired the fic in the first place!)

Had to blur the photo on the final piece, bc that's how it is in the story but i liked it so i'm posting the unblured version as well (drawing new faces for the first time is always so hard man, especially if you are very uncomfortable with staring at people, even if it is just a picture)

+ some phases from the drawing process! i just ended up painting over the colored sketch because my brain wasn't up to do the lineart (which has mainly been my drawing process for the last 15 years)

That entire phone call scene ended with me shedding actual tears. Fuck, that shit was so relatable.. too relatable tbh. The fic is such a wonderful character study for both Robby and Whitaker too

Picked up a book from ‘Crime, Romance, and Biographies of Famous People’ up in Martinaise. Thought nine reál  was a little expensive for a used book, but the owner wouldn’t budge on the price. Oh well, hope this one doesn’t fall apart like the last one!
