But secretly Gwen likes cheesy movies and Duncan tries really hard not to cry at the super sappy parts

silent hill au where gwen and duncan are horror junkies who have heard a LOT of rumors about the foggy lakeside town of silent hill (and that they use real bodies in borley’s haunted mansion — crazy!), but wind up getting trapped there just like everybody else until they face their demons.

okay so the other day (yesterday??) i talked about a potential silent hill gwuncan au i was doing, and now i’m actually getting the ball rolling!

this is gwen’s design! what i didn’t include was her flashlight or revolver or any meaningless items that i didn’t need to showcase. also, her otherworld is icy and cold (for… the most part, anyways), so of course she loses her jacket at some point in the journey. like, a monster grabs it and she just has to RUN for it. she spends the rest of the adventure in her tanktop, feeling super exposed.

also, there’s some plot-relevant stuff going on with her design…but if you know silent hill, you will have already guessed it! (psst, it’s her choker! what a strange design…kinda makes her feel funny.)
