Goodbye Mr. Lynch I’ll see you in my dream
He spoke to our college class once and one of my teachers told him, I feel so much more creative when I'm depressed, how do i accept being healthier when it feels like I'll lose strength as an artist? And David's answer was something I needed more than anything, because at the time I was starting to fail school and struggle just to survive due to mental health.
He said, "If you're puking out of one end and have diarrhea out the other, you're not going to make anything." You have to be healthy enough to create.
He said many other good things, but that one changed me. Your suffering isnt the source of your power- your wellbeing is. Be well, creatives. Thank you, master Lynch.
