Louise watched as Brendan traced his finger over the window as the building swiftly flew by. it was as if he was racing the outdoors to the destination. She loved how the boy appreciated the simple things in life , and it made her more aware and appreciative too. The weather was starting to warm up and spring was finally emerging. It caused for the sun to beam in the car in such a way , that she knew she would remember this day for as long would live. Something was magical about the day , she couldn’t put her finger on it but every fiber of her was excited for what was to come.

  “Hrm - Well what would little man want do you think?” She asked James with a smile as she thought to herself what the young man would want. She paused in her thought and turned towards the scot and she squirmed excitedly in her seat. “...Scratch that , what do you want?” she said with a smile. She had realized she wasn’t paying enough attention the the man driving them about - she felt bad about that and wanted to let him know she was focused on him. “I mean after-all you are the driver!” She said with a slight giggle thinking of James as her cabbie.

“Yes sir!” She said exclaiming as she put on a fake accent to tease him “Cabbie James? Can we go to that small cafe’ around the corner. Then to the Aquarium , and then …” She stopped as she couldn’t keep the charade up any longer and broke her character. “I am just kidding - anywhere you would like!” She said with a sft smile as she began to lean into her seat and tilt her head back to check in on Brendan.

  Louise took out her camera phone , the light was so perfect in the car and she wanted to capture the moment. She snapped a quick photo of James driving , and the sun was glowing on him. She smiled as she looked at it “What a downright lovely photo , you are so photogenic” she said and she sent the photo to a social media site entitling it “Day out with the boys”. She smiled as she smirked at James “Don’t worry you look supermodel material in it” She said as she nudged him comforting him that the photo wasn’t a terrible one that the world would see.

“So then boys...what will it be?” She asked as she smiled thinking to herself what a wonderful day she was having.

Had to go home for a few weeks. Small family emergency. But now I’m back and ready to paint VC my favourite shade of ginger.

Louise sipped the last of her tea that she had made for her and the McAvoy’s , she was ready for the adventure that would await them. She was terribly homesick , leaving all her friends and family behind was hard on her , and more so the last few days. She thought that maybe...

Louise glanced into the back to check on Brendan , he was staring outside the window watch as everything flew by. Louise smiled as she saw turned back towards James. She thought it was special on how the little one appreciated the simple things that surrounded him. She thought to herself that she should partake and join , maybe she would open her eyes and see Vancouver in a new exciting light. "What are we looking for Bren?" She asked as she too started peering outside the vehicle as houses zipped by.

"Are you Hungry?" She turned and asked James. She was a foodie, she couldn't help it. And there is nothing like getting accustomed to a new city like experiencing the food. "I mean nothing real heavy , just.... a light..snack?" She asked biting her lower lip hoping James would agree. Tea was filling , but only to a extent. "I mean....well..." She scrunched her nose as she leaned back into the seat of the car. "...Only if you want.".

The air was filled with Spring , there was nothing more perfect then the time she was experiencing with the McAvoys. She loved the family dearly , She felt like she had known them much longer then she actually did. And almost felt apart of their family as well , something about home clung to them. The accents,the clothes,their humbleness, and family values. It made Louise feel so content with her life in Vancouver. She hope there was many more adventures to come.

Louise adjusted her seat-belt and grabbed a sleeve full of CD’s , which some were pretty old. She sifted through the discs attempting to find a soundtrack to their day. “Geez Amanda! Mind updating your disc collection?” she teased as she turned the pages “What would you like...

Louise shuffled through the folder of discs as she finally found the soundtrack to "Disneys Frozen". Louise had always loved disney films growing up , something so nostalgic about disney songs no matter from what movie. She pulled it out and placed it into the CD player as "Love Is A Open Door" popped on. "I can see why grace loves this!" Loo exclaimed as they drove towards downtown Vancouver with a smile on her face.

Louise looked out the window , the snow was starting to let up and it was finally starting to feel like spring in this neck of the woods. Spring was something that always reminded her of London and the many villages back home. "I am sure Martin is thrilled to be spending time with you and the little ones more!" She said with a lot of enthusiasm. Loo enjoyed spending time with the Freemans , so she knew that Martin had to as well. 

"Hrmmm...What kind of outfits are you looking for?"  Loo asked and she flipped the next button on the cd player to find "Let It Go". "Maybe some dresses and airy type clothing for the summer?" She said as she sat back into her seat and enjoyed the time with her best friend.
