okay $100 for a knifty knitter? you have got to be kidding me. you can get a pack of a few at different sizes at Walmart for about $30, or lens mills for roughly that if you live near one. these people are trying to scam and rip people off. You can also order them from Mary maxim  for around $24 Canadian( not including shipping).

I got this Monster High loom knit beanie kit for my 8 year old from Amazon. It’s a 36 peg loom and comes with yarn, a hook, a needles, and embellishments. I really couldn’t resist since she’s such a Monster High fan. Hopefully she won’t get bored with it after three rows… If she does? Yay new loom for me. xD

Patterns will always instruct you to chain at least one more chain than the number of stitches your project will be wide. The extra chains act as a sort of ‘turning stitch,’ and give you the leverage to place a new stitch right on top of the previous one. 

If the first row of stitches after the chain are going to be single crochet stitches (scs), you’ll crochet one extra chain. If they are going to be double crochet stitches (dcs), you’ll need to make two, because dcs are taller and you’ll need more space. A pattern will always tell you what to do!

I made my brother a hat.

I have also discovered it is easier to sew things onto a hat if said hat is stretched out on a slightly flat football. Which is why there is only half a football under the hat.

Glass case I just finished, by loom knitting. I may add a button on it when I get home, just so it stays closed longer. I really like the colors of this yarn, there so bright and remind me of spring. I have another roll that’s orange, white and yellow, I’m not sure what I want to make with it. Sorry about picture quality, had to use lap top cam for this one. Expect a big post soon with a bunch of hats and socks in it!
