They were strange, resembling wild little beasts. But no one ever imagined that their eldest, Jacob, would lose his mind, kill his father out of the blue, and burn the house down. The entire village was shaken.

What could have driven the boy to do such a thing? Perhaps he had no reason at all. Or, perhaps, the reason is so terrifying that not one of the three would reveal it, even under torture.
