the issue is you’re waiting for one big sign to let you know this person isn’t the one, instead of trusting your instincts when something doesn’t feel right. you don’t need a 27 page long explanation for why you should stop dealing with someone. if it doesn’t feel right, that’s enough to end it. even if you cannot articulate what the issue is, if your gut says go, go.

 if you don’t like the way they talk to you, or you don’t like how you feel around them, or you don’t like the person you become when you’re with them, those are more than valid reasons to go. you don’t have to wait for cheating or abuse or neglect or rejection.
