I’m ready to become the enemy of the people number one but I think it’s time.
First of all I don’t want to offend anyone. I’m not a sexist or homophobe I LOVE U ALL GUYS <3
Have you thought about what the SRMTFHG! fandom turned into? What have been before? Where’re all those awesome arts with dynamics with monkeys saving the world, villains and other canonical things from the canon series? Why people that draw canon deserve less attention than people that draw pairings or OCs. Why they have to be lost in a heap of other art or “go with the flow and draw what everyone likes”? There’s also a problem about NSFM arts under general hashtags. These problems really discourage newcomers to the fandom from the desire to draw or write.
What am I leading to? I think it’s time to separate fandom arts and fanfictions with specialized blogs or hashtags for the fandom’s good. I was tired of the fact that I CANNOT find nothing exept Antauri/Mandarin WHEN I LOOKED FOR DRAWINGS WITH #antauri yesterday. Is a hashtag type system like #canon_info #fan_theories etc. so complicated? We have enough information about SRMTHFG! universe from Ciro (thanks @projectaffectivity) so there should be a measure in everything and we’re shouldn’t moving away more and more from the original idea of the animated series, from why we are here.
