A low grunt rumbled in Mird’s throat. It sniffed the ground, six paws following its head in a snake like movement.
Its nose came to a weapon. Mird’s chops curled around the hard exterior and lifted it up, drool dripping from its lips.
Tari cocked her head at the strill.
“Su cuy’gar, burc’ya. I see you’ve found my blaster. May I have it back, please?” she asked politely, holding her hand out and unperturbed by the drool that now covered her weapon.
Mird blinked before its body started to shake due to the whipping of its tail.

She smelled sweet, the faint smell of pine wafting off of her. There was also a faint waft that mimicked the scent of Vau’s armour.
The strill dropped the weapon to the ground and grumbled happily.
