A Bitter Divorce - Petal (Captain We’re Sinking cover) // because this song is sad in a really beautiful way and the piano works well with that. Kiley is also adorable, as well as a wonderful musician. @petalpa

Feel Good inc. - Daniela Andrade (Gorillaz cover) // because this song sounds surprisingly good stripped down like this and Daniela’s voice has an insane hushed quality. @danielatumbls

Cowgirl in the Sand - City and Colour (Neil Young cover) // because you can see that he genuinely gives a shit about the song he’s covering, which is kind of rare. Also Dallas is just the best thing.

Set the Fire to the Third Bar - Snow Patrol // because this song is beautiful and Lightbody is a damn god.

Maybe We’re Home - Lewis Watson // because I really like the direction Lewis is going in and I can’t wait for the new album to be released. Also he looks like he should be in an indie rock band in this video. @levvis

I’m On Fire - The Staves (Bruce Springsteen cover) // because I honestly don’t think you’ll find harmonies better. This is just beautiful. @thestaves

Hello, I’m In Delaware - City and Colour // because I've been a little bit in love with Dallas ever since I first heard Sometimes. This song means a lot to me at the moment and the way this has been arranged is fucking perfect.

Landslide - Oh Wonder // because the vocals on this track are sublime.

Complicated - Ben Gibbard (Avril Lavigne cover) // because he’s put it in a different key or something and it gives the song actual emotion. It’s still pretty skin deep but ah well. Also the little commentary at the end is adorable.

There is a Light That Never Goes Out - Citizen (The Smiths cover) // because it’s moody song made that bit moodier.

Lover Come Back - City and Colour // because his new album is glorious and this is one of my favourite tracks from it and it still holds it’s own when stripped back like this.
