this is lost upon him. he does not care for the details any longer. his face is a mask of boredom. “can i sell weapons with you?” a job– something he needed. if this man had two homes just from selling guns then it was a job he wanted.

“No. You’re a kid. Kids don’t belong in war zones.” He acts as if selling weapons that are used in war doesn’t actively hurt children on a day to day basis. “Go sell candy, or whatever it is the Boyscouts are selling nowadays.”

“wha’ the hell is istanbul? are you someone important? do ya got people hunting you?” he’d mastered his extra appendages, so from the outside he looked like a totally normal pre-teen, but he knew exactly what it felt like to crave safety.

“It’s a city. In Turkey.” He shrugged his shoulders. “I sell weapons to the bad guys... and to the good guys, really, depending on who’s side you’re on. Nobody’s after me, but it’s good to stay away from where the war is being fought when I’m not actively meeting with their military leaders.”
