So just a few takeaways from the latest Legacies episode because of the amount of discourse I’ve seen

Since the moment Legacies aired, we’ve noticed that Hope’s personality has changed from The Originals to Legacies. Since the beginning we’ve been wanting a more “Klaus like” Hope and that’s what his episode gave us. She didn’t give a fuck about the rules, she did what she wanted for someone she loves. Klaus would’ve done the same thing (except he probably would’ve threatened Lizzie to do the spell and maim a couple of people before).

I know Hope guilting Josie into helping was kind of messed up BUT she didn’t lie. At all. We’re still seeing consequences from Josie’s use of dark magic. Landon being trapped in the prison world stemmed indirectly from Josie. Hope shouldn’t have guilted her but she didn’t lie or sugarcoat it.

Hope always puts her life on the line for everyone else. She is the fire that burns to keep everyone else warm, even as it consumes her. There is no line that she wouldn’t cross for the people she loves. This was very much a Mikaelson move that she pulled. Aside from that, she should not have had to beg her friends for help. They should’ve helped and risked their lives, just like she’s been doing since day 1. She constantly risks her life for the twins, for the school, and for her friends but the moment she needs helps, all of a sudden it’s “too dangerous” or “Landon can wait another month”

This is coming from someone who hates Landon. I do not like him and he holds Hope back too much. I’d honestly prefer if he were killed off and they introduced a different villain other than Malivore.
