Race/class: High elf warden.
Residence: Divides her time between the ruins of Delossad, Echad Candelleth, and very rarely Imladris.
Born to Noldorin parents outside of Valinor. Rívorn was raised with a strict code of honor, truth, and loyalty. These rigid views led to her becoming a warden of Nargothrond in Finrod Felagund's court, whom her family were followers of. She despised other Noldor who participated in the first kinslaying, and would refuse to mingle with such. Despite a seemingly heart of stone, she was adventurous and held a love for the stars that led her to try and chart the skies, among other hobbies such as body art and gem crafting. Yet the ones who drilled their devotion into her shattered the solid foundations when the cruel truth was revealed one day; that they had willingly slain the Teleri to get across the sea and avoid the Grinding ice.
Rivorn's world and beliefs were flipped upside down. Even if her parents were repentant of their actions, it was still done, and she could not forget that. As the years passed and more grief and pain followed as Morgoth unleashed his forces after a long siege, Rivorn was in a fevered madness. In her grief filled haze, she thought to claim the silmaril at Siriond for herself and destroy it to right her kin's wrongs. In the end, she became the very thing she hated most, a kinslayer in a madness to claim to silmaril at all costs. She was too late however as it was borne into the sea, then the sky.
After the war of wrath, she spurned pardon and wandered the broken lands, later being taken captive in Mordor as Sauron's power grew in the east. Not long after, the seven year siege of the Last Alliance began, and a fellow elf named Thelaron was captured by the Nazgul and taken to Barad Dur, where Rívorn found herself a cell neighbor. They became friends, co dependent upon each other in their thralldom. But Sauron had plans for Thelaron, and in time he became the Bitter Warden, Sagróg. When Rívorn found a window of opportunity to escape, she found herself having to engage her once friend in combat. Whether he willingly let her win easy, or she had miraculously become strong again despite being malnourished and besting him, she doesn't know, but Rívorn escaped.
Now in the third age of Middle Earth she drifts between various ruins in the Trollshaws. There's a certain dark beauty about Delossad she's fond of, the horrors that happened within a familiar thing. The wardens of Echad Candelleth find her strange, but let this strange vagabond help out with the chores nonetheless. It is rare that she visits Imladris, only doing so under a guise for supplies and the like.
