And here we go again. *marks new page in book "Mages try for immortality Pt. 3"
Dwarves of Pax Tharkas
The hammer and the axe They live within the Pax Mountainous they are Do not wander far Align themselves with elves But stay amongst themselves Have no use for magic’s curses Evil spells and pointless verses Sing their own songs of the land United in one band Humans all can rot For the evils they have brought They will defeat again Burn and bury all the slain Elves will seal away Enchanted evils for rest of days If the human race dies out Dwarves will say they were not stout Constructing monstrosities Master engineers of velocities Strength above all men Always now and never when Crafters at their best Come in peace, you’ll be their guest They won’t forget a wrong Mess up, you won’t have long
“Have no use for magic’s curses Evil spells and pointless verses”
FUN FACT While most dwarves do indeed have a strong distrust of Mages and resentment for High Sorcery, there are some dwarf races who practice magic.
The Klar: These dwarves have a reputation for insanity, with undwarflike urges to suddenly leave their home and explore without a second thought. They will sometimes practice arcane magic and a few of them can maintain focus for long enough to handle serious study in order to take the Test. However they have a tendency to advance at a slower rate than their peers.
The Theiwar: Shortly after the creation of the Orders of High Sorcery, the Theiwar took an interest in studying magic, for within magic they found power and protection. Overtime, their exposure to magic started to alter their appearance. Instead of having the ruddy and rugged complexion commonly found among dwarves, they began to grow pale. Their eyes bulged and grew sensitive to light, their hair turned thin and brittle. The offspring of the Theiwar had yellow eyes and pale white skin and even paler hair.
Daergar: While not as comfortable with magic as the Theiwar, the Daergar took up the practice of enchanting weapons to enhance their natural abilities.
(Towers of High Sorcery, Margaret Weis, Chris Pierson, Jamie Chambers, Sovereign Press, 2004)
Well, this was based from The Hylar Race, “The Dwarven Nations Trilogy.” Maybe next time I just ignore my love for these books if I’m just going to be analyzed and scrutinized. Maybe next time, I just won’t write at all.
I believe you misunderstood my intentions. I run (or try to run) a blog about Dragonlance lore. I was only trying to add a bit of information that I thought people would find interesting. This wasn't meant to criticize you in any way.

Thank you so much for maintaining this blog! Dragonlance was the series that first introduced me to fantasy! The community is so small here <3 I am glad I found you!
Awwww!!! You’re so kind!!! Thank you so much, this really made my night! I will try to update this blog more often, but my life always makes me so tired and busy. I’m more active in my main @theblueeyedeagle cause it’s just regular posting. But feel free to message me and chat about Dragonlance! (This applies to everyone else as well!) I’m always down to talk about my most favorite thing.
@the-nightmares666 ’s art of Ruslan Gerasimenko as Raistlin!!!! Give her love and praise cause she is awesome!
Reblogging here too!
(Also I'll try to get this blog running again. I thought January was going to be okay, but it's definitely not okay! I'm trying!)

“A father instructs his son in one aspect of kender life.” (Larry Elmore, Leaves from the Inn of the Last Home, The Complete Krynn Sourcebook, TSR, 1987)
Why in the name of the abyss is the Dragonlance fandom so incredibly small?
Please give me a sign of your existence Dragonlance fandom…
I'm supposed to be running this blog but my nonstop exhaustion puts quite a damper on things. Also, someone still needs to round up the Wild Kender running around the library.
