FUN FACT
While most dwarves do indeed have a strong distrust of Mages and resentment for High Sorcery, there are some dwarf races who practice magic.
The Klar: These dwarves have a reputation for insanity, with undwarflike urges to suddenly leave their home and explore without a second thought. They will sometimes practice arcane magic and a few of them can maintain focus for long enough to handle serious study in order to take the Test. However they have a tendency to advance at a slower rate than their peers.
The Theiwar: Shortly after the creation of the Orders of High Sorcery, the Theiwar took an interest in studying magic, for within magic they found power and protection. Overtime, their exposure to magic started to alter their appearance. Instead of having the ruddy and rugged complexion commonly found among dwarves, they began to grow pale. Their eyes bulged and grew sensitive to light, their hair turned thin and brittle. The offspring of the Theiwar had yellow eyes and pale white skin and even paler hair.
Daergar: While not as comfortable with magic as the Theiwar, the Daergar took up the practice of enchanting weapons to enhance their natural abilities.

Well, this was based from The Hylar Race, “The Dwarven Nations Trilogy.” Maybe next time I just ignore my love for these books if I’m just going to be analyzed and scrutinized. Maybe next time, I just won’t write at all.

The Good Dragons
Brass Dragons
Brass dragons are known for being boisterous and loud, with a tendency for selfishness. They live in arid, sandy regions and are small in size at around thirty feet long. Their greatest weakness is their fondness for small talk. They can converse about nothing for hours, and will often travel with parties of adventurers simply for the pleasure of hearing themselves talk. As usual, they have their teeth and claws as well as their breath weapons which include sleep gas and fear gas. Brass Dragons speak a plethora of languages, including the arcane language. (This is mostly so they can converse with a wide variety of creatures)
Bronze Dragons
These dragons are fond of war and fighting. They are large beasts, nearly forty-two feet in length, and they prefer living near large bodies of water. In ancient times, it is believed they often took the form of domestic animals in order to be around humans, as they are extremely interested in their affairs. (Interesting that they can morph into other animals too, no?) With their standard attacks of tooth and claw, they also have two breath weapons, bolts of lightning, and repulsion gas clouds to keep does at a distance. They can speak the language of magic, in addition to many more. Khirsah, who became known in legend as “Tasselhoff’s Dragon,” is the only dragon ever known to let both a Kender and a dwarf upon his back. (Tas often claims that he and Khirsah shared adventures after the war, but this would be unusual for serious-minded dragons)
Copper Dragons
These dragons like to make their homes in rocky, mountainous regions. Although they are good by nature, they are extremely fond of wealth and will often stop and ask “How will this benefit me?” They speak the language of the arcane and they have two breath attacks at their disposal. One is acid, and the other is a gas of slowness that causes enemies to either attack or flee at a snails pace.
Gold Dragons
The most majestic of all the dragons (in their own minds at least) they are quite large, being over being over fifty feet in length. They can live in any climate, but their lairs will always be made of solid stone be it a cave or a castle. Like the other dragons, they can morph themselves into man or animal, but they do so rarely, believing is demeaning to take on such puny bodies. They have the ability to breathe chlorine gas or fire upon their victims. Gold Dragons are also extremely skilled in magic, even the young ones are adept. Pyrite, the oldest Gold Dragon upon Krynn, was the companion of the renowned wizard, Fizban the Fabulous.
Silver Dragon
Surely, these are the most beloved dragons of mankind, for they mingled with the people of Krynn more than any other dragons. Forty-eight feet in length, the love to morph into human or elven forms (often preferring this form to their own). They enjoy helping humans and will sometimes fall in love with their companions. In addition to their claws, they attack with a cone of frost, or a blast of paralyzing gas. They are excellent magic users, and they can speak both human and elven. The most famous silver dragons include Gwyneth, who had fallen in love with Huma Dragonbane, and her Sister Silvara, who had fallen in love with Gilthanas.
