I think my favorite part about that No Mercy Percy moment was how quiet it was.

This man, once known for his loud and pointed remarks of anger when vengeance took over all these years later seems vengeance for his wife in silence. Still smoke pouring out, still weapon raised high, but he needs to say nothing. He can say nothing.

There is no words, but there is vengeance. There is love sharpened into anger, fear pointed into rage, and all filed down by time and living a life a young Percy couldn’t dream of.

The venom of his youth has aged into fine wine, and now the finish might be less harsh, but make no mistake.

He still will destroy anyone that hurts those he loves.
