cerions:
While Cerion was never one to pass up a spotlight of attention, this was one of those rare scenarios in which he wished he could blind everyone in the room. He knew what they were thinking, why they were looking at him. It all had to do with Cerelle. Poor, poor Cerelle Lannister who had been viciously murdered by someone still on the loose. It filled him with anger to see how they looked at him and how pity was etched onto all of their faces. The sooner he was gone from King’s Landing, the better. Every second he had to stay in the dreadful capital was wasted time.
Even in the sea of people, he did his best to keep a distance. Exchanging nasty looks with whoever got too close seemed to do the trick. It was then one of them dared to speak and before he could curse them away, he remembered where they were. He remembered his sister had been murdered and some had thought he was the culprit. “ Unless you know where I can find my dear sister’s murderer, I’m afraid you can offer me no help, my lady. ” he responded through a clenched jaw, his appearance looking more distraught than enraged.
Loreza studied him, a frown settling across her lips. She wasn’t sure what to make of the Lannister Lord, though his reputation preceded him. She preferred to remain further south, in Dorne, and her loyalty to the Martells prevented her from letting her guard down, though she did feel for the loss of a sibling. It was never easy, and the multitude of emotions he must have been feeling were reasonable, even if her kindness came from instinct rather than a deeper desire to help him. She glanced at her feet, and then returned her gaze to him. “I regret that I cannot, my Lord. Forgive me for overstepping.”
She glanced to her side, finding nothing to ease the conversation into something else. “I am merely thankful that my children are not at my side, but rather safely tucked away at home.” She murmured. Her sons were on her mind, and though she wanted to hold them, she knew it was much better that they were away in Dorne and not there.
