A poetry I wrote for my beloved raven.

I peel off the skin of your fear
burying myself into the core of your pain
spreading it with heat of the night
devouring your unease, drinking your discomfort
filling your spine with molten gold [ glittering affection ]
placating your demons with cold iron [ poison for the unseen horrors ]
crushing the heart of your torment
pouring the balm of my inner twilights
into your aching veins
let me admire you
cutting the limbs of your anguish
bleeding it on our mossy altars
in our temples, deep in the abysmal green

Leira Askel, one of characters from the novel "A Taste of Mortality" by @LorianAinDal - with all her beauty and allure.
Leira is the fae king's spy, lover and former captive. Her strong personality allowed her to survive in the Unseelie palace - and bend the circumstances as far as it's possible to her favor.
