Episode Preview: Mentally Okay
“I’m kind of lonely. I do miss having Kaity around. She’s a pretty good roommate. And now I feel like things are a little weird with Finch despite her not really understanding why. Oh, and Robert’s avoiding me now despite the fact we’re leads in a play together. It’s remarkable really how well he’s pulling it off.” She sighs. “But, mostly I’m feeling utterly and completely useless.”
“You’re not useless.”
Episode Preview: Lone Ranger
“I know heroes aren’t perfect, but for someone to have this much darkness and have no one know about it. And there’s no other way to describe this other than darkness.” He gestures to another photo, this one seeming to depict Lori shoving a fighting Jim Hawkins out a window from the way it was taken. “She has all the power when we come to her needing to come home, and all I see are abuses of it. All I see are people getting hurt because of her. And her friends, they’ve just been letting it happen since the beginning.”
It’s here. Love is in the air and a lot of people are going to end up having a lot of feelings. Enjoy!
Episode Preview
Jess seems to debate again. “The fact I’m even entertaining you right now is miraculous given how small my patience is,” she reminds him. He nods in agreement. “His name is Ryan and we’re in a band together. Three months. He gets I’m not big into drama or dating as whole much, but he gets me and I like having him around. So he is. And no, Dad doesn’t know about either.”
Andrew sits on this information for a moment before speaking again. “What’s the band name?”
Episode Preview for Tomorrow!
“I do not desire to be your girlfriend, Robert Rowell!” she says in a voice loud enough to have everyone’s attention. “I do not desire to go on a date with you! I will never desire to go on a date with you!”
Robert is clearly taken aback at this whole display, looking around as everyone just stares openly gawking at the two of them. “Finch, what are you doing?” He’s burning red right now and drops his voice, trying to urge her to do the same. “I know. We talked about this last semester.”
Highlight Reel: The Vote
“Jess is right. Everyone gets a say. We put it to a vote. We leave him to DIZ or her comes back with us. Whatever we all decide together.”
Character Introduction: Jolene Dean
Role: Michael’s Girlfriend (maybe), Mourning Cousin of Caleb Dean, and Reluctant Keeper of Magic Book Secrets
Played By: Dianna Agron
Character Moment
“Are you guys crazy?! You realize he just assaulted two students who went straight to security. Which means tomorrow there will be a report crossing Dad’s desk about the violent mystery man with Andrew and Kaity who threw two students in a river!”
She’s back. I’m back. We’re back. Let’s do this.
Thank you to everyone for their love and support. Now let’s get this season off to a real start
Author’s Note
Hello all. I know it’s been a while and I just wanted to write something briefly to clarify these past few weeks of my absence. My computer, Clarence, encountered a debilitating error that left me unable to navigate my screen. It has been a long couple of weeks without him as the Geek Squad took care of him, and since he had all my notes I was unable to work at all. I am currently typing from him now though, so things have finally reached status quo. I’m sorry to have a break again. Things were going so well in terms of updates. Since I only received him yesterday, the episode will not be ready today. But I do promise a return to the roll we were once on next week. I’m really excited about Season Five and want to get back into it with all of you as soon as possible. Thank you all for your love, support, and patience. You all are the reason I keep typing this little adventure that just popped into my brain one day. You have been with me for a number of years and seasons and I can’t wait for our adventures to continue with what I think will be the best season yet. As a little treat I wanted to give you something to tide you over. So here is the complete opening scene of the next episode. Enjoy and I will for sure see you next Sunday.
XXX
Monday morning, Jessica Timmermans, iced coffee in hand, enters a house on the very edge of campus, peeking in first. “Hello!” she shouts, voice bouncing off the furniture. “Anyone home?!” At no answer she walks into the house heading through the main atrium towards the kitchen. “I’m sure Mom won’t mind if I restock the dorm room a little,” she mutters to herself as she grabs an entire box of granola bars from a shelf. She then after a pause takes a sleeve of cookies as well. “Elections are later this week so stress eating might become a necessity.” She then makes her way through the house to what appears to be an empty study, sipping her coffee the whole way. She stares at the red wooden desk arranged and organized to a tee with piles and baskets for everything, the bookshelf in alphabetical order, and even every paper in the wastebasket seems to be a perfect ball. She just takes it all in with a bit of a frown. “Why do you have to be so perfect Dad?” she mutters under her breath before taking another long sip. And then her eye catches something on one of the piles. She takes a few steps closer, though still a ways away, and sees a folder with the label For the Consideration of President Timmermans by the DIZ Company. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she makes her way up to the desk, cautiously peeking into the folder. Her eyes immediately lock on a list of names present for the first page. “We have been looking into the incidents as desired and have concrete evidence the following students are involved in these out of control pranks, including the Science Center fire and death of Caleb Dean, and have ground to be expelled from the college immediately: Lori Fitzgerald, Charlie and Benjamin Prescott, Hannah Frost, Andrew Parker, Kaitlyn Klingbeil, Michael Harms, Rachel Ellis, and Finch Hale… it looks like they’re all here. Great.” She drops the folder closed and backs off, things weighing on her as she takes another sip. Finally, after a minute of contemplation and staring at the folder, she turns around and heads out of the office and eventually the house- trying to not look back.
Highlight Reel: The Hug
Season Five, Episode Three
“For a long moment they just stare at one another intensely as she cries into her arm, gasping for air. And then he lunges for her suddenly, pulling her into a tight hug with her head under his chin. No one seems more surprised than her and as she relaxes into it she feels him pull away.”
Highlight Reel: Charlie as the Leader
Season Five, Episode Three
“Because unlike what some of you said earlier I do know what Lori would want. I know because I am her very best friend who has been on this journey with her since Day One. I hate throwing that around, you know I do, but I think I have to here...So I need to step up and speak for Lori while she can’t speak for herself. I’m taking charge.”
A moment five seasons in the making. Our little guy sure is growing up.
It’s here. I know we’re early in the season, but this is my favorite and includes a moment I have been waiting forever to write. Cracks are starting to form, but we have to have faith in our family, right?
Thank you, enjoy, and leave a review there or comment here if you like. Love you all!
I will see you back here next week for some more tension appearing in the aptly titled “When You Lose, No One Will Let You Forget It”
OH MY GOSH. That's what I was imagining when I thought of Robert!!!! That's perfect! Also, that chapter was amazing. When they realized it was Caleb, I started to tear up. So good. I cannot wait until next Sunday.
Thanks for the message darling. I’m glad you liked it. Since Finch couldn’t answer Rachel’s question about him being cute I though everybody should be able to judge for themselves ;)
This episode was pretty intense with Caleb feels. Caleb may be gone, but he is definitely still there in a lot of ways for all of them. I hate shows where a character dies and is suddenly never mentioned again. It messes people up a lot and I’ve been trying to convey that.
Next episode is going to be super intense for Lori in a mental way- and it has what is going to be one of my favorite moments in the series I have been waiting forever to write.
I just want to say that I adore your story, and that I am currently in the middle of getting caught up with the current chapters. I really love your writing! I have been following your story for the past... two years, I think, and it is still a story that I will always look forward to reading. But anyways, what I wanted to say was thank you for all that you do with your writing and that your story is definitely one of the best ones that I have read, or will ever read. Seriously, you're amazing.
Why thank you! It means a lot that you enjoy it so much. I plan to keep you entertained for a while yet. There’s still a lot more story to tell ;)
