Also, I went to a swap meet last month and traded my Studio Bitamin Enmusubi for this Volks MDD cutie, Touhou's Marisa Kirasame. I put her in this outfit for the lols but I think I'll keep her in her full set. I just need to style her hair... but I don't wanna.

The ita bag from RiniCake on Etsy is super fun. My husband bought the Bananya pin for me when I saw it at Kinokuniya. It's the smallest enamel pin I've ever seen.

Then my luck kept up and I pulled the secret Labubu 😆 chances are 1/72 so wow

Then the luck started running out. I got scammed off overstock.com so I opened a PayPal dispute. Pending. I shoulda known. Be careful labubu hunting.

A long time ago, someone asked me if these two were sisters and at the time I had separate stories for them but recently I started dressing the littlefee in pastels and omg

So Dolce has a little sister now and I renamed her Noemi. I was kinda wanting to get her faceup redone but I'm thinking about trying to track down a Pong Pong with the open mouth in tan first.. someday maybe.

Bff @rebel-vv gifted me a wig to try and I'm pretty sure I like it more than the one I picked out for my AP who I've been calling Starbie lately. So I tried her in both wigs with all 3 Volks outfits I have for her...

Left is the wig I bought just for her and right is the gifted wig that I think might suit her better.

Left is peel & stick wallpaper, right is prepasted with adhesive that actives with water

I got samples in both peel&stick and prepasted. P&s is easier to deal with and install but prepasted has sharper, cleaner graphics. The p&s has a woven texture that sort of softens the design for a more subdued background feel and absorbs light a bit more so there's no super shine highlights. I think if this were going on an actual wall, prepasted is the way to go. For a doll wall though, I think I'm going to get a whole roll of peel & stick.

Or they both look exactly the same and I'm overthinking it 😂

Before I start working on my big arcade/skate rink plans, I need to fix these mistakes.

I hated my first attempt at laying down little floorboards. It's super uneven because some of the boards were too wet, some not wet enough, and I used way too much glue so the color came out kinda off too.

I'm way more happy with the other side. There are small gaps that are only really visible from above but it's super smooth and even. I like the color for Clover's basement apartment too.

So I'm going to just sand the heck out of this side to get it as even as possible and fill some of the deeper gaps with putty and stick this butcher's block contact paper on it, I think the color matches her room better too. Mmmmight end up throwing contact paper over the walls I didn't like too... I just want to be happy with it enough to move on 😑

Too bad I have to go back to work tonight so I'm about to lose all this project time, motivation, and momentum.

I've collected a lot of doll clothes over the years and I made an attempt to clear some of the clutter and make outfits with the pieces I want to sell but put together outfits I want to keep 😂 I might end up keeping that last outfit, it's just so cute and kindof expensive 😬 sometimes I wonder how much money I've put into my dolls over the years but then on second thought I don't want to know 🤣🤣🤣

Cutting is the hardest part. I'm not 100% happy with my work and can easily identify my faults but I'm glad it's still cute.

I went for a hime style cut but I might just trim the rest for a blunt bob. Still thinking on it...

I found some clear slime in the novelty toy section to make some tears

Idk if it's necessarily "safe" for resin but it's for kids so it can't be too toxic right?

It looks cool and really fun to play with. Definitely sticky though so I keep the portions I've used separate from the rest.

Closet cleaning makes me so sad but I got COVID and missed work all last week and can't get the emergency pay and besides that my collection has grown to be overwhelming sooo I'll do the responsible adult thing but I can cry if I want to.

I put up some floating shelves by my desk and couldn't sleep so I tried to organize some of my stuff:

It's still an awful mess but I'm a step closer to getting my life together before I try to start some doll projects I've been wanting to get to.

I'm still trying to decide what's going on the shelves but I absolutely love them

I love my corkboards but they are definitely not thick enough for pins so I tried to cut some foam poster board to size for the back (just the pink one) but I did not like the result so I think I'm going to just redo them. I'm also fixing on replacing one with a dry erase square to scribble reminders and messages to myself.

But I got in trouble with the apartment manager for all the noise haha. So hammer time is over for a while.
