I’m making art of my insert inspired by your modern AU hope you don’t mind the cross over ✨

I decided after months or longer to draw my Wakfu insert that I have had since 2018 and I got out of art block and decided screw it modern AU.

You have been a big inspiration for me for modern AU Wakfu and I adore this story so much! I’ll ping you when the doodles are done and I hope you enjoy them!

I’m so sorry for not posting anything about Wakfu recently, but my brain literally decided to write a f*** novel and I can’t think about anything else. Sometimes I even realize that I haven’t drawn anything for a while… and I miss it ^^ Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be inspired enough to come back and write a three parts novel about aliens demi-gods and their over protective mom :p

Everytime I come here and see the modern AU the first thing I look for is the character sheets because I physically cannot ignore them because they are so perfect.

My favorites are grougal and adamai’s “animal forms” and I cannot wait to see their human form character sheets (if you ever make them ofc no pressure)

I just absolutely adore this modern AU and how different it is from the rest!

Anyway I hope you are doing super well and cannot wait to see more!

I have to admit that I was a bit afraid to post these drawings at first. Maybe it wasn't good enough, maybe it was wrong ? Too OOC (and I totally understand if someone feels that way) but I did it anyway, and some of you guys left me so many nice comments.

I'm also sorry for the late reply, but your message made me want to share more about this alternate universe, and I wanted to post some drawings in it. (That, and I needed a break from my APT fanfiction :p) It was great to draw again!

Unfortunately, there are no dragons appearing as humans in my Wakfu AU. EXCEPT our Lord ADAMAI. Who is canonically a skilled shapeshifter in my story, unlike the others who can only choose one animal appearance. In this AU, he and Yugo are separated for centuries and Adamai grows up somewhere in South America, around Mayan ruins. I don't know why I always felt that the Mayan culture suited him so well. (Probably because of his appearance as a golem in season 2, which reminds me of the Mayan statues).

I still don't know how or why they're separated, but that's a problem for another time ;)

Also I'm still not sure about his final look, the hair looks so weird, but I really like it now… Same with the skin color, should it be brown ? blue ? I used some kind of grayish skin tone, but I'm not sure. And the taaaaiiill, omg the tail bro, how do you even find clothes to go with it ? Should I keep it ? Anyway, he lives there alone for a while, scaring tourists and helping people in need when he feels like it. He sometimes appears as a monster and keeps the urban myths alive.

Also, like many dragons before him, this guy has an addictive taste for gold. ✨

These are the very first attempts so be kind I really tried lul.

I 'll try to go back to this fandom sometimes, I still enjoy working on my AU but I try to not drown myself in my projects ;p

✨Update :

Sorry for the lack of news lately, but I'm still in a bit of a transition in my life. I moved from my beloved seaside town back to the east of France and am now living with my mum. I'm trying to find a job and rent a new flat (hopefully very soon).

At the moment I'm working on my A Plague Tale fanfiction again, which I'm having a lot of fun with on Wattpad! I have decided to switch to writing in my native language as it is much easier for me to process.

I'll keep you updated, as I'm thinking about getting an account on Bluesky as well.

Just a question tho you mentioned that this was the third part of the comic, meaning the ending.

Do you mean that this is the ending of the au and that you're done working with it or do you just mean that this is a comic chapter and you're done with this part?

Also just this talk about Yugo having his first family dinner with Amalia makes me wanna think and hope that you're gonna show it lol

Oh I have SO many ideas for this fanfict... I indeed plan to make some others after this one. (Thank you btw for the comment, you made my day ! <3 <3 <3 )

Maybe some updates for the characters sheets too... I have already a better idea of what I want to do with Yugo and Qilby appearance, and show some characters I never drew yet. Regarding the plot, I only have a few pieces, not a full story in my head... But Oh... The potential it has... sometime I wish I could live a thousand years to write stories x)

I have the headcanon that Qilby is the kind of distant big brother that always keeps an eye on his siblings without them realizing it. I also have the idea that Yugo is the one with which he shares the deepest connection (except Shinonome of course,) And there are a few reasons for this ;)

PART 1

Part 2, this story is going way too far in my head. I have many ideas about how the 6 Eliatropes were created in this AU. I'm sorry about the time this took to be finished, but I moved recently and was on holiday to see my family for the end of the year... I'm very happy people enjoy this silly fanfict, who knows how far this will go !

Plot point : Qilby and Yugo have discovered a secret laboratory. They find out that their father is not the great dragon but an unknown divine entity... They go to their mom to know more about it.

PS : Sorry for my very bad English, I’m not a native speaker !

PS 2 : Qilby and Yugo Faces, hair and clothes keep changing, I don't really care, it's just that I'm improving/testing stuff as the story progresses :p

First part from my short comic, a scene from my fanfiction where Yugo and Qilby are asking their mom about who their "real" father is. They probably discovered some informations in a secret lab and now, they want to know more about their origin !

In my AU, all the dragons (The 6 Council Eliatropes’ twins) are hiding under animal forms. I’m still trying to find a satisfying bird form for Shinonome. When I saw this short I directly thought about her and Yugo :D (I think he's 6-7yo here)

For those who are wondering, I'm still working on my Wakfu modern AU and the next part of my story. I want to release something that looks like a webtoon.

It'll take place shortly after my last comic and show more about the Eliatrope goddess as a human character \o/

I don't know if I'll ever write something about this AU but I love it more and more. Probably some scenes will be made into short comics, but I'm afraid of spoiling too much of the story that way…

For now I think I'll just make some character sheets, probably more about the Eliatrope Goddess as a human form ? Or more about the dragons ? Tell me what you want to know !

Qilby :

Given age - 40~ / Real age - +250

Older than Glip, but still looks younger, does he have special abilities/powers because he's the first born ? (He also has the ability to remember all of his past lives here.)

Tall.

I couldn't find anything that looked like what I really wanted for Shinonome's form, so I went with a sort of mix of different birds for her. (I'm probably going to change her appearance soon anyway...)

Same with Qilby's profession, I guess he's like a very famous scientist but prefers to stay in the shadows. He's like a consultant who works with a lot of different scientists and historians, and gives them his opinion and knowledge when they need it.

Spends his time travelling to various archaeological sites around the world. (Portals are SO convenient for this...)

His apartment is a real cabinet of curiosities filled with books and all sorts of things he brings back from his travels.

He's also supposed to smoke e-cigarettes, but I'm not sure about what flavor, I want something that reminds him of his home planet.

Has a LOTS of diplomas.

Left-handed.

Fluent in several languages.

Yugo :

Given age 20~ / Real age - 20 (how is this possible ? I'm still looking for an explanation...)

Very athletic and popular in his faculty~

Has the same group of friends for years now, they take care of each other like a family.

The Tofu key chain is one of Amalia's gift because he loves birds.

I have no idea what he could actually study :p Any suggestions ?

Skating.

Wears a cat beanie to hide his wings.

Adamai takes the form of a white wolf-like dog, with blue eyes. And a WEIRD smile.

Has tons of pictures of him and his friends~

These are the very first drafts for my Au so please keep in mind that many things may change. I'll probably post something about the Eliatrop goddess next week, but her story is still a mystery to me… I have some ideas but nothing really solid at the moment.

So I've been really busy with my Modern AU-verse lately and oh boy have I got a ton of new ideas. If my motivation holds out this week I I'll be able to draw 6 of this panels to show you my headcanon appearances of each 6 council Eliatrope members.

Let's star with Nora and Glip, shall we ?

Nora :

Given age - 20~ / Real age - 58

Big fan of 90's Japanese style

Independent, calm and wary nature

Keeps snacks in her bag; (and Efrim sometimes lul)

I haven't decided what kind of job she does yet.

Probably had stars/planets tattoos here and there.

Glip :

Given age - 50~ / Real age - 125

Still in the 1900 - 50's style

Director of a University

Has a great knowledge in ancient history, mainly the Mesopotamian period.

Smokes pipes and spends his time working in his office while Balthazar sleeps somewhere on an old cushion.

Responsible, reserved and caring nature.

Important points ! In this universe the 12 gods and races doesn't exist, Except for the Eliatrope Goddess and some of our own mythologies ones! Also, Every dragon has an animal form to hide from humans.

I am seriously starting to get more captivated by this every time you show us more breadcrumbs. You're really showing your dedication for this given the fact that you've already shown us so much for two primordial eliatropes in such a short time.

Like Nora being into Japanese 90s style and Glip being a university director just fits??? So well??? I would have never guessed anyone else making up these for them and yet there's a great logic behind it.

AND THE DRAGONS TAKING FORM OF DIFFERENT ANIMALS IS JUST SO CUTE PLEASE IT WORKS TOO 😭💕💕💕

I can definitely see Balthazar as an old cat because it fits well with Glip's entire library teaching 50s vibe he's got going on with his director diploma lol

And Efrim being a snake not only goes well because of what his dragon form looks like, but it can definitely mix well with Nora's Japanese 90s techno style.

Immortality seems to take a huge place in this au as well since Nora and Glip still have their wakfu wings and Eliatrope being the only goddess we know of.

I wonder how you're going to implicate our own mythological ones though since well....Krosmoz already got its own gigantic lore lol

And if the twelve gods won't be there, does that mean people like Yugo's friends will physically look different?? Because they can't just look like their gods if they don't exist unless they look the same, just not without them? Either way, you'll obviously explain these things at your own pace, so I just wanted to tell you IM READY 💖💖💖

Also can't wait to see what you got in store for the primordial eliatropes' dad (or different dads) for this!!!

I am glad you like my story! My brain works like this, once it gets an idea, it runs at 1000% until it's drained for good. So let's enjoy this moment of high productivity before chaos :D

I just wanted to say that I have absolutely no idea why I gave Nora a 90s anime style, but I thought it would be cool to have a different time period for each character! Since they lived long enough to cross many ages. (I still haven't decided yet how long they've been on Earth and who died during that time…?)

As for the animal forms for the dragons, (big fan of the "his dark material" TV series here :p ) they can still talk and for me that is a more coherent way for them to evolve in a world that is supposed to know nothing about them. (Of course I am imagining dramatic turns of events where they have no choice but to change back to their original shape eheh.)

I first thought of a cat for Efrim but that sounded a bit unoriginal to me, a snake fits better and I'd love to draw the many expressions he would make :p

I'm still not sure about the main story plot but I new ideas keep popping up, like a giant puzzle in my head :) I think it would be better to cut out the twelve gods, and go for a completely different plot if I don't want to get lost in the lore ^^, So yea, I think some of the main character would look different then. Like Amalia would have dark brown hair, with some green locks in it ?

For the primordial Eliatropes fathers, I'm still looking for the right ones, and here I can't say more because I don't want to spoil what might become a fanfiction later :p Same for the Eliatrope children ? Are they here somewhere ? Hmmm…

I'm having too much fun doing this please someone stop me

I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do with Chibi, to me he is that bro/friend you want to have if you play D&D or like movie nights with pizza <3 I was a bit less inspired with Mina, at first she was supposed to be Yugo's age and go to the faculty with him, but the plot took an interesting turn when I thought about some of the stolen eliatropes Dofus.

What if she had been raised in a secret lab, studied as an alien being for her high psionics (eliatrope ) powers ? (I have so many ideas for this but I'm still not sure how and when...)

Let's see my headcanons now :

Mina :

Given age - 7 / Real age - 7

Has grown up in a lab, so everything about the world fascinates her. Mostly plants and flowers, like her mother, she has special interest in every living thing on earth.

Tattoo on her neck indicating a certain number ?

Phaeris as a rabbit is still her mighty protector and this makes me laugh so much.

Has a joyful and curious spirit. Very talkative.

I still have to develop this character a bit... I don't have much more about her.

Chibi :

Given age 30~ / Real age 64

Stuck in his 80's era.

Plays electric guitar, and D&D.

Thinks his van is his second home and has probably slept in it way too much.

Works as a mechanic, so he knows how to fix all sorts of things.

Has a collection of 80's stuff of all kinds in boxes that he keeps in his small flat. (Nora often goes crazy over it)

Brave, optimistic and kindhearted, he also has an impulsive nature sometimes.

Grougal' is an Iguana. I like the idea of him fixing people in total silence and sometimes licking his eye. Also Chibi loves to give him cool styles with tiny accessories he finds.
