Los Bronson

Los Bronson son un cuarteto de surf rock establecido en San Juan, Puerto Rico, en el 2013. Con Yunke y Miguel en la guitarra, Vanjo en el bajo y Gugo en la batería, fusionan sonidos del surf clásico de los '60 con punk, funk y jazz. Durante el 2015 lanzaron su primer disco homónimo con la producción del Bronson Fest, estrenaron el video musical de "Sangre en los adoquines" y tuvieron una gira exitosa en Peru. En este próximo año podemos esperar la segunda edición del BF, un segundo disco y una gira por el East Coast de EEUU. Los Bronson is a surf rock quartet established in San Juan, PR in 2013. With Yunke and Miguel on guitar, Vanjo on the bass, and Gugo on drums, the band fuses classic surf rock sounds from the '60's with punk, funk, and jazz. In 2015 they released their first self-titled album during the very first Bronson Fest, a full-fledged music festival featuring some of the best emerging talent from the island produced by the band. The group also premiered their first music video for the song "Sangre en los adoquines" off their debut, and enjoyed a successful tour through Peru. This year fans can expect a second Bronson Fest, a new album, and an East Coast Tour of the US.

One year ago Los Bronson decided that the best way to release their album was by creating a music festival. Bronson Fest is a multidisciplinary independent festival that brings together bands, artists, and foodtrucks for 24 hours of high energy rock and roll. This year we have over 25 bands on 2 stages, 20 vendors in our market, 5 art collectives working on installations, 5 diverse food trucks, 3 of the best DJs from our island scene, and a awesome production team that is putting their heart and soul into this project. The event will take place on the 21st of May, 2016,  starting at 12pm for 24 hours of music, art, camping and fun in the sun.

Los Bronson gozaron de un año de mucha actividad musical, tocando en clubes y festivales y hasta girando por Perú –pero ningún esfuerzo se comparó en ambición al haber convertido el lanzamiento del debut del grupo en uno de los eventos más memorables del año. El Bronson Fest, con su decena de artistas independientes presentando su música, se convirtió en una especie de boot camp intensivo para seguidores de la escena –y un impresionante esfuerzo de autogestión.

Por su parte, el disco muestra a un cuarteto cómodo con su identidad musical –trabajando con vertientes clásicas del rock como el surf (“Saico Sussy”) y el funk (“Funk&Bass”) a lo largo de ocho temas bien logrados y variados que capturan la energía del grupo en vivo.
