We, the people on this island, are not important. The island and the nutrients it provides exist in their most perfect state without us gathering them, or manipulating them, or digesting them. What happens inside this room is meaningless compared to what happens outside in nature, in the soil, in the water, in the air. We are but a frightened nanosecond. Nature is timeless.

I needed to see this today.
we need to bring back the phrase "what business is it of yours" in a big way i'm serious
i know you can just say "none of your business" but phrasing it as a question with a jarringly formal tone is the ideal way to shoot an overfamiliar unwelcome overture dead in its tracks and force the person making it to confront the boundaries they're taking for granted + it would really piss people off which is funny
one day, i hope to be moved from your downloads folder into somewhere more deliberate
project hail mary is a touching and poignant film that leaves you asking questions about humanity like, "wow what if all mainstream media was genuinely good" and "what if book adaptions actually gave a shit about the book in question" and "what if studios hired actors that could actually act, and then let them get a lil wacky with it"
I wanted to do something more painterly for a change

Friend in an alleyway | my wife sent me this photo the other day and said "you HAVE to draw this." and I agreed completely <:
oops I was told you can only see the photo if you have a bsky account, so here's a screenshot of it!
It's crazy that social media broadly never adopted the queue, an iconically great Tumblr feature. I love the feeling of hurling posts into a void through which they will later emerge in an orderly fashion.
