Panama Wedding - All of the People (RAC Mix)
- One of my favorite songs from last year, Glassnote signed Panama Wedding just released an RAC remix of "All of the People." If you haven't heard the original, check that out too. And if you haven't checked out RAC's new full length, you're not ready for summer.
St. Vincent - St. Vincent
- One more for today, St. Vincent's superb fourth LP, which is self-titled, was released today, even if Spotify says it was released in 2013.
Beck - Morning Phase
- Beck released 'Morning Phase' today, which is seemingly a 12-years-later follow up to 'Sea Change' that everyone can't seem to shut up about.
Skaters - Manhattan
- I caught Skaters record release show at Bowery Ballroom last night, and they rocked everyones face off. 13 and 30 year olds moshed together as one, and all was well. Congrats to the locals on their big day.
Lo-Fang - Blue Film
- Check out Lo-Fang's debut LP 'Blue Film.' I'm catching an intimate show tonight at the Tribeca Grand.
Metronomy - Love Letters (VIDEO)
- Metronomy just dropped a Michel Gondry directed video. It's pretty awesome. Though I just saw them last week, I'm looking forward to the Spring tour they just announced.
Snowmine - Dialects
- Remember last week when like 10 thousand new albums came out? Well, Snowmine's 'Dialect' was one of them, and I waited a few days to give it a fair chance on your listening que's. I love this band. They were great when I saw them last year at the Mercury Lounge, and I'm bummed I just missed their record release show at Glasslands. If you're into Mesita or Foxygen, give em a try.
Gardens & Villa - Dunes
- The first time I saw (or even heard) Gardens & Villa, they were opening for Foster the People in mid 2011. My friend had told me to get there in time to catch them, as they are also SoCal natives. At the time I'd been listening to a lot of Milagres, who I find to be very similar. Check out their sophomore release, 'Dunes,' out today on Secretly Canadian.

- Another great release today that I've been looking forward to, Augustines self titled sophomore album just dropped. Frightened Rabbit fans, this one's for you.
Bombay Bicycle Club - So Long, See You Tomorrow
- Happy release day, Bombay Bicycle Club! I've had this record for a few weeks now and I have to say I'm pretty certain its their best yet. Enjoy.

Wild Cub - Youth
- I am a couple weeks behind on this, but Wild Cub put out what is hands down one of my favorite albums last year. Mom + Pop picked them up and the album disappeared from Spotify for a bit, but on 1/21 it was rereleased, and I am even more into it now (absence makes the heart grow fonder?). I imagine if Prince was from Nashville and spent a good amount of time in Brooklyn, this is what his indie band would sound like. They're great live and they're on tour now, so catch them when they roll through your town.

Sylvan Esso - Coffee
- I'm a huge fan of Sylvan Esso's. I've managed to catch what I'm pretty sure are the only 3 of their NYC shows thus far - a solo gig at the Mercury Lounge (during which Amealia told THE FUNNIEST technical difficulties joke I've ever heard), their opening gig for Volcano Choir at Webster, and then opening for Minor Alps at Bowery last month. They're simply the most charming, delightful, and fun duo, both as people and as a band. Check em out.
Disclosure - Grab Her
- Disclosure just dropped their hilariously entertaining video for "Grab Her." Hopefully you can catch one of their 3 NYC dates this weekend.
Foster the People - Coming of Age
- New Music Monday - FOSTER THE PEOPLE!! Happy birthday to me. Their first album was my favorite album of 2011. They dropped this time-lapse video today with the first single from their new LP 'Supermodel' out March 18.
