Anyone can help!
(Real pen the last picture)
It is important for EVERYONE to know how to help ANYONE. Not everyone can give them selves their medicine under every circumstance. Be educated, help out.
In the last year, i have gotten about five new violent allergies from foods i used to be able to eat. Next time i eat a fruit, my throat could close. I may not be able to inject myself. My boyfriend and i played with my trainer pen for like 30 minutes. He knows how to inject it. I know how. This is important.

If you arenāt sure, count to ten while the needle is in. That way youāre absolutely sure the medication can go in. Also, some of the newer models will actually talk to you when you take off the cap.
And yeah, sometimes we canāt inject ourselves. People, even strangers, who notice and respond can literally save our lives. So learn how to do this, itās important!
Hi! Another person with allergies here, and Iām here to tell you that they might not have an Epi-Pen!
This bad boy is an Auvi-Q, and whereas the Epi-Pen is silent, this thing has a speaker in it thatāll give you instructions as soon as you take the sleeve off.
It functions the same as the Epi-Pen (Take off the safety cap, stab it into your leg) but it only needs to stay for 2 seconds, and itāll countdown for you. I just wanted to post this so everyone knows that this is ALSO an epinephrine injector even though itās not an Epi-Pen and to know what this thing looks like.Ā
