I came up with this three-way table to help me (and now you, if you want) to rate things out of 5 stars. I was thinking of books and films when I made it, but you can probably use it for other stuff.
The idea is that you rate the thing on how much stuff you loved and how much stuff you hated, and those things weight against each other. There's only one way to get 5 stars or 1 star, so those should end up as the rarest ratings, wtih 3 stars being the most common.
'Spicy' means that the thing inspires emotion, whether positive or negative, while 'bland' means it doesn't affect you much either way.
An example of a 3-star (spicy) - for me personally - would be the Twilight series, because there's plenty of garbage in there but also some things that are like crack to me. I can't think of an example of a 3 star (bland) because by nature they don't stick in the mind.
(This also assumes giving 0 stars isn't allowed. That'd throw it out of whack...)

Back to back news from PIKA édition (French publisher)! There's a few things to cover:
A new grimoire edition of the manga is being released (French). From the promotional material, it looks like it will be 2-in-1 volumes, and in a larger format than before. It'll also include 18 colour pages - possibly some will be the chapter covers that were in full colour originally. The first volume is up for preorder to be released 22nd January. The cover is the left image above.
Additionally, a new standalone artbook is being printed (right image). It's set to be massive - 192 pages at A4 size. This is also up for preorder, for release on the 29th January. The promotional material can be found here. (Note: This will be a considerable undertaking to archive, but I also will be avoiding sharing it until a decent post-release window has passed).
And further to the above, more news of the event in Angoulême early next year has been released. If you're thinking of attending, please check these threads out [Thread 1] [Thread 2] or, if you don't have access to Twitter, here is the external link that contains information about the signing session dates/times and how to enter for a spot. This must be entered before the 6th Jan.
