There's nothing wrong with being useless. A couple of years ago in a Book Design class in college we were given an assignment to test formating and structure skills, and we had to pick a text of our preference to turn into a little book. I've always dreamed of editing fanfiction stories into books, so I immediately turned to my favorite fic ever for this little project, and made some illustrations for it! I only edited the first chapter of Stag Legs for my class, and it was a lot of fun to work on it. Likewise, the rush of pure emotion that cursed through me when I had the final prototype in my hands was incredible, reading this beloved story in the format of an actual book was super exciting; it felt just right.
I'm sharing the illustrations I did here at last (cover art, vignettes, spot art), and I debated on sharing the pdf but ultimately decided I wasn't 100% happy with it (it needed a few spacing corrections that stood out once I printed it, lol), and I also only exported it for printing, thus the page order is all over the place. Hopefully one day I will sit down to work on the whole fic. Other than me, my teacher is the only person who's seen the booklet, and this is just a personal endeavour out of love for this wonderful story. Much love to @aryashi and @lost-kinn for writing an inspiring fic that's very dear to my heart and an absolute masterpiece. Little bonus under the cut :)
