Welcome to Laucney!

You're now entering a magical town, entirely populated by toys. A place of whimsy, fun, and community. Where every toy, whether they are broken or defective, posh or crass, has a home to call their own, thanks to their benevolent Toymaker. This is Lost Doll's Land.

Lost Doll's Land is my very own world of fun. Started as an AU, later spun off into its own book, and now being transformed into a cartoon, it's been through quite a lot. Yet, the core still remains the same: A town of toys, a wonderful little doll at the heart of that town, a mysterious and pompous creator, and the many friends they make along the way.

Meet Miss Cheerwave!

The mechanical maid, or meanie if you will. She's a very bossy and demeaning lady, quick to insult and put down everyone for not meeting her system's impossibly high standards. And yet, she is the most capable and efficient bureaucrat in the entire town, that skill just doesn't really translate to nanny duty, just ask Dorothy.

Meet The Tentacuddles!

Her name is Polly, and his name is Wally, and they're the Tentacuddle couple! These octopi ragdolls are one of a kind yet strikingly similar. Wally has the quickest wits, able to fire off and take over conversations with great charisma and ease, while Polly is simpler, but carries an earnestness that is unmatched. They're absolutely smitten, and when Dorothy crashed into their lives, embraced her enthusiastically as an honorary member of their family.

The creator of Laucney and its residents. He's a reclusive fellow, but always reenters the picture with a brand new toy and a measured attitude, ready to settle whatever disputes the toys have between themselves today.

He's the father of Dorothy, as in he made her specifically to function as his daughter.

The beating heart of the show, little dolly Dorothy Toymaker is just a gem. Friendly and trusting to a fault, she always wants to give out help to those who she thinks need it. She's also of a robust imagination and can turn even the most boring chores into playtime.

Me and a friend drew my OC, Polly Tentacuddle. Here's my piece!

Polly is a crucial character from a project of mine called Lost Doll's Land. It's been through a lot of changes but right now it's a 30 minute pilot I'm working on for a contest. Polly is the lovable and energetic companion of her husband Wally. A ragdoll octopus, she can deform her body in a lot of ways and carry eight different objects at once!
