I’m loving the way I decked out Cendit’s Kitsune shift~ I wrote his bio earlier today, too! It’ll need some work, of course, but I’ll get to that later.
Cendit is a mage who works primarily with space and the void. He is outwardly very aloof and serious, but when he loosens up he is kind (although a bit shy.) His favorite form to take is that of a dragon, and he often changes between wolf and dragon in his sleep or when he is startled. A side effect of the magics that Cendit uses is that when he takes a form with fur, the aura of the void magic he uses clings to him and stains his coat the color of the night sky.
How can my pets be infected with memory loss when they already have it? Oh yeah new pets… not that it really affects anything they can all still gather and I still don’t have an unaffected shaman so they can’t be healed.
My pets have it too, I’m not sure if it’s supposed to do anything yet, at least during alpha

After Risingsun had been in the world for one full turn of the seasons, her mother went into the den and did not emerge for a long time. The pack brought prey back faithfully, though only Stonefang was permitted to crawl into the den to deliver the meals. A pup must be sheltered until they are old enough for their Emergence, after all.
One eagerly awaited night, in the full glory of Lune’s radiance, the pack gathered at the main den. Though the pack mainly worshiped Sol, it was generally agreed that a pup’s Emergence should be scheduled to celebrate their individual patron deity.
When her mother and father finally walked out of the den, it was Risingsun who padded forward to meet the little life first. Her eyes crinkled as an instinct older than time took over, as her small sibling gazed solemnly upward. Their ears perked at the same time to catch their father’s words.
“We welcome Blazingheart to the Lost Forest, and petition that Lune grant them a completed Path.”
The heartfelt plea of a father to an incomprehensible, unknowable being was swallowed up by the night, witnessed by the shadows on the forest floor. The stars burned coldly as the rest of the pack crowded forward to sniff the tiny new life and offer their scent and life-long protection.
You guys have so much luck with the random pets!
I’ve been having a rough time with finding any for my kitsunes (I’ve only found one). I have some in my deer clan, and I finally found a shaman, but with the territory game it does seem like you need a lot of pets at this point in time to be able to hold territory for long.
In the meantime, My first offspring have grown up, and while neither of them are shamans, it’s still good to have a few more adults around in the clans.
As of right now, the best thing to do is keep all your pets in your home spot and then use individual turns during gathering. That’s the best way right now to get more randoms.
Also, make sure if/when you get your shamans, you don’t put them in the same spot as everyone else. If everyone on that spot gets sick, you’re out of luck for healing them if your only shamans are sick, too
Idk if this has been said already or if the site owners plan to do it, but I think that territory maps should be divided up by level a bit better. Because I can see people being too afraid to get into multiplayer because someone who plays all day with a level 100 pet can just sort of wipe everyone out and go pretty much unchallenged (other than by someone else with a level 100 pet).
But yeah, it’s kind of unfriendly to casual players :/
I wish you could pick your home spot, and people could only expand to ajacent spots so I could go off on my own and AVOID PEOPLE

Are blogs that post negative things common for these kinds of sites?
I’m new to both tumblr and pet sites, so I’m just not sure.
Do these sorts of communities tend to spread on-site? Do they target users? Will they affect how people interact on site?
I’ve tried my best to block the blogs as I see them, as the content they post just stresses me out. Will that keep them from interacting with me?
I’m sorry if these answers are obvious or step on people’s toes, I’m not intending that. I’m on the younger side of the userbase and I worry that even though I may not intend it, I may hurt someone’s feelings and they’ll bring it up on such blogs. I sometimes struggle to articulate what I want to say, and these blogs nature makes me worry that if I do mess up it will end badly.
I know Flight Rising has ‘em, I’m just going with a policy of blocking negative Clanheart blogs. They’re unfortunate but people are gonna do what they’re gonna do.
Don’t worry too much about what people might say - I don’t know if anyone takes these seriously, and most I’ve seen have a no-username policy for submissions. If anyone goes straight for you, I think that’s cyberbullying and should be treated as such, and can certainly get reported to Clanheart staff. Dunno how much they could do about it, but it lets them know there’s a problem that needs to be addressed by someone - and they might know how to deal with it better than we can!
(Admittedly, I’m 20, so I have a bit of practice ignoring what other people say about me.)

My suggestion to improve territory game.
Make siting around just as important as moving around!
Have it so your gathering turns build up if you don’t use them, but get wiped at roll over. This could mean players with lower activity can still get roughly as much material.
Make movement cost one action. Storing up moves to gather a lot could be a viable strategy, but so is moving out.
Have bonuses for how far away you are from home. Maybe an extra point of gathering for each square spreading you from home. Also have a bounce for surrounding your home. Maybe a boost towards having territories in range of your home that don’t count for the distance bounce.
People will try to protect the area around their home, but try to expand into each other’s. It will be like a push and pull, these contradictory goals giving you strategies and making attacking others have a greater purpose.

I’m not super combat-oriented, so I’d also love to have adjoining territories give bonuses. Rn everyone’s just spread out across ALL THE MAPS attacking each other bcs it’s really the only thing to do.
