world didnt end? TOO BAD! NO TAKESIES BACKSIES!! being a cow is much more fun than being an adult, though.
"One day... I must leave him... to face my fate with Ruta."
Originally intended as a study on Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor Heyser's 'Ophelia...' turned into a four-month focus because I know no chill. I'm most proud of the background, actually. Backgrounds are my nemesis, and I will conquer!... Hopefully!
Talking with my very-literate wife, I've decided Mipha is not dead, as would be more in line with the original. Instead, she is dwelling on and resigning herself to the truth that she likely will not return from the Champions' Call. It's a moment of quiet. Calm. A supposed ease where tension strives to thrive, and the threat of calamity looms.
A Minish me, sitting down for a refreshing drink. Probably a Chai latte, knowing me.
Hi,
It’s your friendly neighbor fanfic author here. In the light of this apparent new trend of people feeding unfinished fics to AI to get an “ending,” and some people even talking about “blanket permissions,” let me just say this:
I EXPLICITLY FORBID ANYONE TO FEED MY FICS TO AI. DUDE, THAT IS ABOUT THE LEAST RESPECTFUL THING YOU CAN DO. IF YOU DO IT, SHALL YOU BE EXCOMMUNICATED FROM YOUR FANDOM AND WALK ON LEGOS BAREFOOT TILL THE END OF DAYS.
That is my anti-permission.
Thank you for your attention.
Consider this my notice as well. I do not give permission for ANY of my work to be fed into an AI. If I wrote the words, consider this my notification. NONE of my words belong in the algorithm of a computer trying to replace me.
same here
if you ever feed my art or my writing into AI, you’ve officially disrespected me and the fandom as a whole and i want nothing to do with you. thanks <3
Same for my work! You don’t have permission to use my work to feed to AI
Same. And if I find out you have you’re getting blocked from everything forever.
As the other creators have said.
And also, "blanket permissions" acts like "your (art), my choice" and I'm not down with those rape-y assumptions. Piss off. Another wave of lego caltrop hell unto thee.
I love this because it's not just a "think outside the box" thing. Look how the standards of society keep them low. Look how the high value of one skill did not bring happiness! And look how the cumulative skill of all areas has a greater total than the one skill.
It's a subconscious perspective perpetuated by capitalism, that we are lazy if we don't perform to a particular caliber, and that laziness makes us lesser. It doesn't. We all deserve a break, a moment to enjoy the view and slow down, regardless of where we could have been.
This is a 10-page tribute comic I created for Faith. It didn't feel right returning to GUG -- I still had lingering thoughts I needed to air out and this was a comic I was planning ever since the drive home from Faith's send-off.
I'm beginning to feel art again and I want to believe it's Faith encouraging me and inspiring just as she did with her comic updates.
Thank you, Faith. Thank you for everything.
You can find Faith and her work at @anewcalamity, @maldreathezora and @tuppencecomic.
I discovered Faith's artwork recently, after she passed. I never knew her, and I miss her so much.
To those who were close to her, many hugs, comforts, and sympathies. Heal well ❤️🩹

Reblog if you think asexuality is a legitimate sexuality.
I'm trying to prove something.
Reblog if your blog is a safe place for asexuals.
Quick sketches, observing how Ganondorf's face changes from surprise, to focus, to anger/effort. I want to do more of these. I'm practicing for another piece~ It's been too long since I did something quick and sketchy, and I really like the look.
"Oh no...! Master Jim!" Off and on obsessed with this guy. Love him <3
If you play in my game and recognize these devilishly handsome boys, please stop reading. ^ _ ^ Thank you.
Four Genies left their lives behind and sought refuge from the powers behind them. They opened a portal to the world of Kudota, a quaint world where magic was light and Great Spirits ruled over the natural order of things. They saw a place they could call their own, if the Great Spirits were not quite so omniscient. So they devised a plan to subdue the Great Spirits, one by one, collecting some of their power in return. Now, 200 years hence, my adventurers must venture forth to save Kudota from the impending doom. Strange, though, that these Genies are helping them solve the mysteries shrouding the Great Spirits and revive them back to full strength... What could they be up to?
Mardjin, the Marid: calm, approachable, enjoys his comforts and his throne. He is fond of the music of his minstrel and representative. He has taken a liking to Destiny (no portrait yet), a PC, and has been guiding her through difficult trials. He is a caring ruler, but this doesn't change the fact that his powers are ill-gotten. Djinniván, the Djinni: loves to sow chaos, and is usually seen as untrustworthy. Like Mardjin, he enjoys his comforts, but he is also lazier. He is the patron of Rin, one of our PC's, and roused the anger of Islu, another PC, who seeks to end him. Effruk, The Efreeti: closest to Daoruuk, he tries to act as a voice of reason or a vizier of sorts. He is also the patron of Hasina (no portrait yet), another PC, and he urged her on her quest in session 0. Daoruuk, the Dao: brutal, harsh, and sadistic. Only through pain and torment can you grow stronger and gain power. He is a Dao made of obsidian - sharp, but brittle and prone to cracking. He found a way to make himself more flexible by embedding an undying flame in his body. He torments those he chooses to bless with his power, and he is the most ambitious of the four.
This took 2.5 solid months in Clip Studio Paint to finish. I'm proud, but exhausted 😌
I just finished Stranger Things Season 4. I want Eddy Munson as my new best friend ^^;

Monk Yaatra, the Samsaran Psychic: Commissioned earlier this summer for use in a D&D campaign. Inspired by Guru Pathik, he carries very little with him: a couple books and book-binding materials, tea pot and a small cup, a couple potions, and his lantern staff. Part of the same party as Ibrahim Capell. A positive, optimistic fellow seeking worldly experiences before his passing and rebirth.
The blue robe is a Hyperboreal Robe fluffed to look like a (long) tang suit. It was a challenge to get the contrasting blues of his skin and robe to compliment each other, but I’m quite happy with the results!
Painted on the cintiq tablet using Clip Studio Paint. Completed July 2022. Commissioned by R. Rose (with permission to share).
Ibrahim Capell, an Oread martial fighter. He specializes in the use of a Meteor Hammer, pictured here by the two lanterns around his neck. He was an extremely fun request from Reddit (r/characterdrawing). The original poster gave a lot of wonderful descriptions of this dude, so I’ll let his post shine.
Drawing using the cintiq tablet and Clip Studio Paint, finished spring 2022.
