No Godmodding, Mary-Stu/Gary-Stu characters
Characters must be active for at least a week, been to Minas Vrun, and have read the rules in order to become a full-time member.
All potential members must be interviewed in a roleplay setting, regardless of status with other members.
The Kingdom of Minas Vrun is home to several of the descendants of Arnorians, but the blood relation is so thin, that they tend to only live to a few short years over 100. For the most part, the Kingdom is a melting pot of other cultures as Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Men are able to...
Minas Vrun is a small Kingdom that stands between Trestlebridge and Esteldin in the North Downs. Overlooking the Fields of Fornost, this land has seen many oddities over the last few ages. It was in 3322 of the Second Age, that the Kingdom of Minas Vrun was founded by the Great King, Elendil,...
Well! Here we are, the final hours before Minas Vrun becomes the home of our new kinship! Meet Feoswyth! Our lovely bartender of the Drunken Doe (Just behind the wall in the second and third picture). With preparations quickly being made in the last few days, our sense of humor has hardly died out. We’re excited for the road ahead as we try to build a real community.
Tomorrow, expect to see shameless posts spread across Bree-Town and other lands, welcoming people to join us at the Drunken Doe for fine an ales and food. During this time, we will accept interviews with others in order to find quality members. Our goal is not to be a huge kinship, but to be a good kinship!
See you all tomorrow!
So I was just starting up a lotro blog on tumblr for a new toon (because I'm weird that way and love tumblr) and I was checking out the tags I was using for the posts. I clicked on "landroval" and ended up on your page! The idea for the kinship is brilliant! If/when it becomes a real kinship I really hope to be able to join. Sorry to be a bother, just thought I'd say what a unique idea it is :) Oh! And my main character is Feoswyth, on Landroval. Message me if this kinship happens please!
Glad to here that you like it! I am just about at the point where I am willing to start it up! I would say launch day is this week. I'll add you to my friend list and I will let you know. I will tell you now that even though there very few low level things, it might be good to get around 20, 30 if you don't want them to bother you.
See you soon Feoswyth!

Welcome to Minas Vrun!
This large ruin can be found just outside the Field of Fornost lies this little known secret. With few spawning low-level creatures and no related quests, this land is full of potential for the kinship!
The best way to describe it is to ask you to imagine Ost Guruth, but with no NPCs. There is plenty of opportunity to create an awesome kingdom with space for a tavern, market days, studies, and so much more!
I am still looking for people interested in joining. We will be starting up very, very soon!
Alright guys!
So glad to see that there is some interest! I want to keep you all updated on everything that is going so far as this is the official blog for this developing kinship.
The reason I’m waiting is not only because of the fact that I want some more momentum before I jump into this...
Hey guys!
I’m creating this blog to get an idea of the potential interest would be if I created a kinship on Landroval on LOTRO.
The basic idea is that this RP kinship will take place in a large set of ruins in the North Downs. In these ruins lie unlimited opportunities for roleplaying as the...
Hey LOTROL's! It's been a long time since I made a post... I got caught up in Doctor Who I never knew how empty my life was and my computer crashed and everything went wrong! But I'm back with some weird hair and a continuation to my series of Bored.
Ever wanted to walk across a flaming pit of lava in hopes to injure yourself? Me too! I went down to Thorin's Hall for this adventure where I sent my character across this pit of hell to see if it would have any major effect. Sadly, since my hunter is now a level 52, I did not die, but hey, you could do all kinds of things in a pool of lava. For example, you could roleplay as a person who is being tortured to death, or see how many people could fit onto one platform, or even make it an exclusive club that only the elite gamers can burn upon. The possibilities are literally endless.
If you have any ideas of what else one could do to cure boredom, let me know!
once I asked my English teacher if teachers shipped their students and after explaining what shipping meant she told me that that is literally one of the most popular discussions in the staff room
I had an English teacher who thought these two students were nice together, so she made them partners on a project.
They got married.
Now I need to ask my English teacher

I just accidentally hit "sell all" at a vendor NPC in LOTRO...and lost so much valuable stuff I don't even
And I can only blame my sheer stupidity.
I guess these feels are just practice for when I lose my first ship in EVE.
Could be worse, one time I bought the Lone-Lands horse by accident. So not only did I lose 5 gold at level 27, but I also did not have enough rep to ride it, so I had to do the extra quests. It was a lovely horse though.... Change my mind, your predicament is worse and well understood.
This is Faenneth on Laurelin—what a cutie—as her name was already taken by someone who looks to have not been on in at least a year if not more, but what can you do.
She’s level 9 and went exploring yesterday. If I did RP she would definitely be a younger version, which is what I was going for with her looks and think I achieved that. Probably 30’s.
I did see a couple of people in Bree that I have seen here on Tumblr but was much too shy to say anything. This is the biggest barrier for me and RP, being shy no matter the situation. :| Hopefully I will make it to some events or at least make attempts at RP though. I really do want to.
I have that problem all the time! IRL I have no problem approaching people, but I get so shy at the Prancing Pony that I roughly say the same three lines every time and then run for my life, claiming I have to eat dinner
LOTRO soundtrack - 10 Far Ahead the Road Has Gone
Ah, the memories. Who didn’t hear this on an endless loop while creating their LOTRO characters, in the days before Rohan? =)
I used to take forever whenever I would create a new character. First I would flip between elf, then man, then back to elf, then a quick look at hobbit, then, as always, back to man. Then, when all was said and done and everything would be figured out, I would decide I wanted something different and change back. It's a good tune, though. My favorites are all from Evendim, so I like to sit on the beach in Tinnidur and let my mind wander.
Hello LOTROLs! Today I'm starting my new series: Bored! It's time we take a break from the dwellings of Bree-Town and broaden our scope to incorporate all of Middle-Earth (or at least what my level 50 hunter can access without being slaughtered).... but that's beside the point!
The basic idea I have for this series to show all of the things one can do while finding themselves panic stricken. You desperately want to play LOTRO but your quests seem unbearably boring/challenging or none of your friends are online. Being without a kinship, I run into this issue pretty regularly so I find ways to entertain myself. Today's example: transforming into an NPC.
As crazy as it sounds, planting yourself into the lifestyle of a rogue or Angmarim can open all sorts of fun potential. All you need to do is go to a camp where the NPC's levels pale in comparison to yours. In this case, I chose a small camp near Dwaling on the outskirts of the Shire and Evendim. It has a "homey" feel to it with the dilapidated hobbit holes, the old oak trees, and the "friendly" folk within.
When I go to the camp, I tend to gravitate towards small groups of the NPCs conversing with each other. Just standing there and imagining what they have to say can be fun enough, but to offer your own input can be entertaining as well. For example, while I walked in on this duo, I imagined I heard them discuss what they would do with all the hobbit meat they left behind the kitchen. After we discussed the matter for a few short minutes, the men were happy to direct me towards some lovely guards, that decided I would lead guard duty.
If you're not in the mood for playing pretend and just need to get some thoughts out of your head, vent to an NPC. Whether you choose to do this in "say" or in your head is up to you, just be sure to not let out much, these men are probably a little too sober for that. And don't forget! You're not talking to yourself, you're talking to a computer!
Please let me know what you all want to see next! Any suggestions would be awesome and my question to you all is: what sorts of things do you like to do when you get bored on LOTRO? See you all with more content next weekend, bye!
