Tinnudir. Tinydir if you will
Primary LOTRO character. Anarlossë, novice ranger of Nenuial. Tiny. Socially awkward. Says little; loves fiercely. Lives in wary fear. Acts anyway.
Messenger, outrider, student of Orchalwë; friend to Lothrandir (heh. sure. 'friend' XD), and other players' rangers.
LOTRO Week Day 2: Favorite Locations
Goodness, there are so many, how do I choose a favorite part of Middle-earth?
For Braigiar though (and eventually for Halloth), Evendim is Home. See that shiny Tinnudir Keep behind him and Halloth?
He was born there.
So, my only-incidentally-AU notion is that when Aragorn decides to restore Annúminas after he takes the throne in Gondor, it's the Rangers of the North who lead the effort, with the support of resources and skilled stone-masons and other artisans from Gondor. Cerphedis, by this time, has followed Radanir North and married him, and they're among the Dúnedain who relocate from Tornhad to Tinnudir to begin the work of not just clearing out brigands but actually restoring the city to be livable again. Braigiar is born not many months after they arrive to Tinnudir - it is not yet clear to me whether Cerphedis knew she was pregnant before they moved or not - and at that point they'd still be operating out of the Keep, since it'll take years to get enough of the city restored to move in. But by the time Brai is all grown up and goes courting Halloth in Forochel, Annúminas is Home. It's all worked out just like this Tinnudir Ranger used to say!
So, with the rubble cleared away, the water levels lowered (you've got that, right, Gwindeth? Uh, Gwindeth?), and the Angmarim fully evicted, a doorway like this might lead to Braigiar's and Halloth's home in the Fourth Age...
Or if not that exact doorway, one of these lovely roofs down below! Just with less flooding, of course.
(and someday, maybe, an Annúminas housing neighborhood in LOTRO? Please, SSG? XD Yeah, yeah, I know it's not exactly a feasible neighborhood in the Third Age game setting but a girl can dream...)
Ah, Evendim...this definitely calls for a salute to the old home-Keep with the Statuettes we acquired there! :-D
Evendim Memories - 1/??
Tinnudir, Evendim - The Lord of the Rings Online
Tinnudir (Sindarin for Dusk-watch) is a settlement located within the area of Parth Aduial.
At a well protected island in eastern Lake Evendim, this keep once used to be the estate of the royal family of Annuminas. At the south-eastern part of the island Calenglad and a party of Dúnedain Rangers have established an encampment, keeping watch over the region, sheltered by no more than ruined walls of the ancient buildings.
hey hey quick call for suggestions from LOTRO folks if you’re still out there. wanted to add a medieval manuscript style illuminated border to this evendim painting, but need ideas for the imagery. deffo will include the seven pointed star of the wardens of annuminas, but wanted to do some purply elements…maybe wisteria? or lavender? and i believe there’s willows around the evendim biome as well? and of course waves idk. thoughts?
what about your little guy Bronagir? how is he doing these days?
..........................definitely not falling into other bodies of water
