I made Bengal tiger chicken fettuccine with mushrooms and spinach & chickpea curry? I intended to make a salad but I got swept up in the recipe 😂
Trying more of this eating small meals on a regular basis like a proper human thing, so I'm gonna post food on here for a spell as kind of an accountability thing. Plus, I'll make prettier food!
Lunch today:
Eggs with jalapeño, gypsy pepper (some kind of sweet pepper that was on sale - and, most critically, not the same color as jalapeños lol), onion, and mushroom, with some tomato achaar and turmeric
Japanese pickles: daikon and ginger 💕

Weekdays of Feast Week: sugar/jelly donuts, bread bowls, smores pie, Chinese steamed buns, soup dumplings. Finally: maraschino cherry and espresso mochi

Very excited to make jelly donuts tomorrow (and mochi on like Saturday or Sunday)
It is almost the week of the Feast of St Nicholas, so I'm brainstorming what to bake for that week! I've started making jelly and got some pastry tips for jelly donuts, bought some adzuki beans to make my own flavored anko for mochi... Very excited!
I have made an unusual jelly: kiwano melon! This is probably going in some donuts
I made a smores pie for Thanksgiving. Will probably make it again for my roommate
Fun with foraging: green crabapples! I made them into jelly, one that was just the crabapples and one that was crabapple and blackberry. Then I made some crabapple liqueur with what I had left
Grape kohakutou for Halloween! I thought the strawberries were a good idea until I realized it had to sit out for days on the counter... Ended up not eating those lol
Lime jello salad I made earlier this month. Tasted way better than I expected!
