Weddings on a Shoestring - Just where to Start
So, I've just got engaged. And I'm so excited about getting married. I'd do it tomorrow if I could. But where to start?
The truth is, I don't get big, grand weddings with crazy budgets - unless you have a money tree in the garden that is! Don't get me wrong, I want a wedding to remember, but I don't want to be in debt for it. And that's not me being tight. Let's be honest, it's one day after all!
I've got this £5k figure in my head as that seems to be 'cheap' in the scheme of things. But even that's crazy, right? What we could spend £5k on! Ok, so we could probably do it A LOT cheaper. But we want all our friends and family there. And doing a quick count, that's about 100 of us. So straight away, cheap seems to go out of the window. Or am I missing something? Can you still do it on a shoestring?
I'm dying to hear about ways to make it the best day ever, personal to us, but without breaking the bank. Talk to me if you can help get my head around all this! :)
