it's not even the tv shows themselves at this point it's the fact that almost all of our current wlw representation has been cancelled. we're currently facing the threat of our rights being taken away so we find comfort and happiness in shows where we're represented and they get taken away too. it makes me so fucking angry and so fucking sad at the same time, and I just feel defeated

i know that it’s just tv but constantly seeing sapphic shows being canceled left and right really makes me feel disheartened as sapphic myself. good representation is so hard to come by and when i find it i always get so excited. i feel this joy and i have this feeling that i’m finally being seen. and then whatever show it is gets canceled and it feels like a slap in the face. it feels like the world saying “no one cares” “no one wants to see this” “no one wants to see you”. and it makes me feel lonely and frustrated and pissed off and sad.
