People are not consistent, they are conditional; their principles bend under pressure, their morals dissolve under opportunity, and their loyalty disappears when cost outweighs benefit; study the pattern, accept it as human nature, and build leverage.
“You’re fucked… You thought you were going to be someone, but now it’s obvious you’re nobody. You haven’t got as much talent as you thought you had, and there was no Plan B, and you got no skills and no education, and now you’re looking at forty or fifty years of nothing. Less than nothing, probably. That’s pretty heavy.”
2023 was a year of many ups and downs. It was definitely life changing in many aspects. I finally managed to get into the University I wanted, met new people, cut off a few of them, started my dating journey, got my first job and most importantly I have developed my character and personality. I hope 2024 is the year that I start bettering myself tho, because this life I'm living right now can't last forever
I’ve been in a calorie deficit, healthy diet, and intermittent fasting for so many months, but without results? It seems like I would lose 1kg at most but then quickly regain it
I am not overweight, so I knew I would lose weight slowly and I had to be patient but it comes to a point where you don’t see the point of it all anymore
Yes eating healthy has so many benefits but I was really restricting myself and months passed and I still look the same
I am like XS on my upper body and M on my lower body and that’s what triggers me, I am the definition of a pear shape and I wish I could just have slimmer legs
Could you suggest me the right type of exercise or diet for pear shape body?
hey! 🤍
first of all inform you all, not only you, that i am not an expert in nutrition and i am not going to recommend diets to anyone, i only recommend a healthy lifestyle and balanced eating. i can suggest healthy types of food but for the moment i am not going to tell anyone what they should or should not eat, because first i am not a specialist and it is a delicate subject for some people and secondly i do not know exactly, each person is different and this should tell you a nutritionist. so if you really wanted to change your diet you can go to one, not in all cases, but if you have weight loss goals, it is the most advisable.
i ask you, do you really need to lose weight or do you just want to change your body because you don't like it? if so, fine, you can do it, but you have to keep in mind that during this process of change, you also have to change certain thoughts you have about your body and start to love and respect your body, because there is no point in losing weight if you keep having the same thoughts that will make you feel the same bad about your body even if you are thinner, do you understand?
so i encourage you to work on these two areas, both physical and mental.
heal your relationship with your body, start loving and respecting your body and from that point on the changes will feel much better and you will notice progress.
start loving your body and stop being so hard on yourself and restricting foods because that is not right and you are harming your body.
as i mentioned at the beginning, i am not going to recommend any diet but i can recommend a series of exercises.
if you want to slim your legs do exercises that are focused on that, there are many on youtube for slim legs, do them 3-4 days a week, leaving a day or two of rest between each session and you can also combine them with cardio exercises for the whole body and going for a daily walk.
here are some workouts that may help you.

Hey x
Do you have any tips / routine on practicing self love . I’ve realised lately I’ve been prioritising seeking love and it’s been dra
these principles were shared by the author louise hay in her audiobook "how to love yourself" which you can find on youtube and i recommend
and remember it's ok to make changes in our body but we also have to love and accept ourselves for who we are, don't compare yourself with anyone or be hard on yourself, take care of your body because it is the house in which your soul lives.
Hi, I'm writing this in the hopes that the pear-shaped body anon sees this because I am someone who had similar proportions (XS up top M on bottom) and similarly wanted to slim legs.
I can say factually, across the board, weight loss does not in and of itself change your fat distribution & body shape at all. In fact, if you try to lose too much weight too quickly, you'll end up losing a lot of muscle as well and will have even more of an exaggerated pear shape. The ONLY thing that has worked and that helps is not "slim leg exercises", frankly, but overall, slow, gradual weightloss paired with building muscle in the upper body through full on weight-lifting/strength training, especially the shoulders, to create more of an hourglass versus a pear shape.
There was a period where I was bigger all over, but as I continued to (SLOWLY!) lose fat (slimming out in the bottom), gain muscle (widening up top) I became ultimately a smaller hourglass and am now XS in both tops and bottoms. I did the slim leg exercises & caloric deficit thing for years with no results because, ultimately, you can't change where your body likes to keep its fat, you can just change how much fat you like to store, and you can only selectively build MUSCLE... and you certainly won't lose muscle by exercising, even if it's just high-rep bodyweight stuff.
hey! 🤍 thank you for taking the time to write this, i was unaware of all this information. hopefully, the anonymous who asked me about this will see it and be able to help you.
how do i become more interesting to others to how to keep a conversation going instead of it ending awkwardly becos i seem so boring
hey! 🤍
first, it is more important that you become an interesting person to yourself so that others will find you interesting.
don't pretend to be something you are not from the outside because that won't work in the end, work on your inner self first, and then it will come out.
do you consider yourself an interesting person, why not? ask yourself that question, it will solve many of your doubts.
you can change this, you can become a magnetic and interesting person, but first, you have to really believe it.
you can read or listen to podcasts on how to have more charisma and be liked by others, this can also help you.
i am learning about this too, so i could make a post about this too with some psychological tips.
Knowing exactly what you want is crucial to actually be able to accomplish it. When you have a clear vision of your goals, it becomes easier to work towards them and make them a reality.
You deserve everything you desire just because you exist. Nothing is beyond your reach. You already possess all that is necessary to attain what you want.
You might be feeling like you're not good enough and doubting if you can achieve what you want. Your subconscious mind is responsible for most of what you experience in your life. It shapes your beliefs and how you see and feel about the world. Your upbringing and experiences can program it, making it harder to achieve what you want, especially if you've faced difficulties. But you have the ability to change those thoughts. Believe in yourself, know your worth, and don't give up on your dreams. Start believing in your potential!
You will never be criticized by someone who is doing more than you. They are too focused on their dreams and know how hard the journey is. You will only be criticized by someone who isn't achieving their goals and is taking it out on you.
