On my way to work, something big came crashing through my mind that I felt needed to be shared....
There are only so many good men left out there in the world. Men who take value and commitment to heart more than anything. A lot of these men are nerds, geeks, those who've watched Science Fiction shows and movies, played board games or video games, those who can see people for who they are and not judge by their appearance. Same goes for the men who grew up on values, who grew up knowing right from wrong, how to treat and protect those who they care most in their lives. And then there are men who abolish it all. Who take the wrong from the right, and not care what their actions do to those around them. These men hurt and abuse women, both emotionally, physically and mentally and do not give an ounce of remorse or regret for their actions.
What is worse is that there are more of those kinds of men then there are those who do treat women right. And it is these men who search endlessly for the right woman in their life. They struggle and deal with so much pain and regret because every other fish they came across, always find some way to hurt them, stab them in the back or break them. Not every man is good, same goes for women. There are good and bad to all of them.
I am in no way saying women don't get it bad. So keep that in mind as I continue on this path. Men do their very best to never go back to the ones who hurt them, but a lot of times it is not easy. When a good man falls head over heels for the woman they had been searching all their life for, woman who they thought they could never find in this world, they do everything in their power to prove to that woman of how much value and worth they are to him as romantic as they can think of. Some times it is stupid, silly, amazing and great. All of those categories women fall for. Well. Not all of them to be precise.
We good men struggle so much, but when we fail, when we fall, when we are turned down or heart broken, we do our absolute best to keep it to ourselves because that is what we do. We push on. We move forward. We hope that another fish in the sea will come and bring more happiness into their life than what they have now. And some times that fish will see the scars, the bruises, the pain and the aches that man went through and then they see them for who they are. But they're afraid because they too been hurt before, numerous times in their own lives because of the bad men out there. So they're afraid to reach out, to open up and afraid to feel happy again. But those who take a leap of faith, reach out and touch the one they want to help heal, that man will awaken from his past, see her for who she is, see the scars and pain she has dealt with and together...is when that man and woman are truly lucky. They take this as an opportunity to get to know each other but to also help heal each other and during that healing process, they get closer and their lives become complete, to whichever additions the two have. Not every couple will want children, or capable of having children, or may already have children from past lives. All it takes is for one man and woman to feel complete with each other, anything after that is up to them.
And for those who are LGBT's or support LGBT's, this goes the same for every single person in the world. Everyone finds their fish, finds the one who completes them. But they also go through the same struggles, pains, emotional turmoil, good's and bad's, abused and worse...tortured for who they are because there are those out there in our world...who just have no soul, so they try to take yours away or force you to lose yours. And a lot of times, it is from those who are afraid of change. And that is understandable but still no excuse. We are all human beings. Just because we were born, thinking we are different, believing we are different, even look different, doesn't give anyone the right to say otherwise. It is their life, their choice, no one else's. No one has the right to make decisions for someone else's life. Now I am sure people would argue about children lives, let's not start that conversation. Don't be dense. You know exactly what I am talking about.
Our society is simply afraid of change. It has always been so since the beginning of time. Humanity has the ability to learn and adapt, to make mistakes and learn from mistakes. It is how we grow, how we are defined. But we also have one bad habit that has been with us for centuries. We Are Afraid Of Change. Black culture, first brought to America and what happens to them? Racism, Slavery, Discrimination. And when we had a Civil War to grant them rights, freedom, it still wasn't enough. Racism was still a huge, dangerous thing. And it still exists today. Much less people but still, it is there. But now there is not just Racism, Sexism has been around for centuries too. And now Genderism...is that even a word? Or is it still Sexism...Sexist? Those who discriminate and humiliate LGBT's.
Remember that video, anyone? The video where the guy explains that AMERICA IS NOT THE GREATEST COUNTRY --ANYMORE--. And he was right. It used to be. We used to fight for what was right, to defend those who needed it, to protect the weak, the innocent. We used to stand up for each other, protect each other, show the world that we accept one and all. But we do not do that anymore. We don't. We belittle each other. We fight wars for resources and money...not to protect and defend the innocents... Don't get me wrong, terrorism is real, I don't deny that. But ask yourself this. What are we still fighting for?? So many people in this nation, all they do is belittle people, discriminate, disrespect...we can't even punish children properly anymore because Government made it so if the child says the word 'abuse' at all, the parents get arrested. We have come to a world where we simply just can't do what we used to be able to long, long ago. What are we becoming?? And then there is bullying. All the school shootings that has been happening, and what do people scream for? Gun Control. Excuse me. But what about controlling bullies? Huh?? Have you ever stopped and wondered, was this kid...who went up on a shooting spree...was this kid bullied? Did this kid ever try to come up to anyone and say 'Please, make them stop.' Or 'Please tell them to stop.' Or something along those lines? Does anyone ever even remotely look into the shooter's past and ask themselves, have they been bullied? People do not understand that when children are bullied, they can be bullied to a breaking point. A point in where their state of mind, is no longer intact, no longer thinking straight, no longer processing the rights and wrongs, all because they been bullied so badly, so much into it that they just can't think for themselves anymore. Our Society picks on people, belittles people, bullies people, and other nations wonder why there are so many school shootings in our nation. Maybe we need to investigate further into children being bullied, than into Gun Control. Should there be some limit on Guns, fair. But do not take them away, there is a legitimate good reason in keeping them. Because you do not see that, doesn't mean they should be taken away. Think about the children, and how they are affected when they are bullied. Think about what their personality is, their actions, how they act when the come home. Do they become different than their norm? Do they do things that makes your wonder, curious or even concerned? If you see ANYTHING different about your child, you must act immediately and you must reach out to them and the Schools MUST stop Bullies. It needs to end.
And there is information that our government is keeping from us. It isn't surprising. It isn't a mystery. And there is a solid reason for it. We Are Afraid Of Change! There is no way in hell that we could be the only species that exist in our galaxy alone. Universe is impossible to be void of life but our own. And if species from another world visited our planet, why would the Government tell us? They wouldn't. Because we cannot handle change. People would panic. Riots would be all across the country. The Government simply cannot risk that for any reason. And yet we are planning to have a Mars Colony in 2030's. Over 10 years from now. And News...they tell you what THEY want you to hear because all they care about is having the viewers, keeping their stations profitable, and standing. To pay their people. So they'll tell us what they want to tell us, and instill fear into us, to get us to keep watching their network. Sure they still report facts, but not always. They stretch lies until it is true to someone. Or they stretch the truth enough to hide lies into it. It is what it is and until we get over our fear of change, NOTHING will change.
And that boils straight back up to my original speech. Women who have been through hell and back, only know and remember it. Women who have been abused, only know that life. When they find a good man, who's tried so hard to find the right woman to complete his life, and they treat the woman right...respect, dedication, love, tenderness and care...it scares the woman, because it is something they are not used to, something they never experienced in a long, long time and it boils down to one thing.... Change. They are afraid of it and they go back to their abuser because they are afraid of change. Good men...problem with some of them...with me...is that we take a lot longer to give up on a woman that we want in our lives. And when we choose to give up...we still can't get over them.
There are some women who have made impacts on my life that I will never forget them. And no matter how much I try, I still cannot get over them. And there is one who I recently given up on but in all honesty...the feelings for them are still strong. So strong that I just don't want anything to change, at all, whatsoever. But there is a friend who I recently been getting back in touch with because I just did not know what to do. They were going through so much that I had no answers, no ideas, no plans of action like I normally would. I simply do not know how I could possibly help them. But nonetheless, I am communicating with them again, and I am trying with what little knowledge that I know. I know that they have been involved with things or potentially still involved with things that I've never dealt with before and I don't know if would want to. But I am not afraid of dealing with it. Does it scare the hell out of me? Anything I do that is not the norm, does. But if I have fun, and it is with someone I enjoy being with, then why avoid it? And some day, I will want to change, change my feelings, my thoughts, and my wants to a whole different person....
We need to stop fearing change. Accept it. Embrace it. Our Society needs to stop fearing change and stop belittling so many people for it.
I am just another geeky guy who has been through hell and back, provided so much over his life and barely got anything in return. Just another lonely man, who has locked his heart up and tossed the key, tired of it falling for someone and getting hurt for it, no matter how many times you tell it the signs and the facts. And even though it continues to beat for someone but eventually I'll toss it into solitary confinement until it gives up completely on them. I had so much on my mind, so much that just...how do I put it. A box of so many thought stuffed into it just...burst the hell open and now. I don't necessarily feel empty, I still feel like there is more to say. But I have reached a dead end at this point. I'll find an opening and resume later when I can....
