I glanced upon my flower near a crack feeling the least bit of sunlight it can. This room is where I've been living in for atleast ten years. There are no windows, no unnecessary decor on the wall, just blank white. I never left my room, same goes to the disease I was born with. My body is covered in bandages from my neck unto my toes. I never felt human touch not even my parent's ever since I was secluded to this place. I heard a knocking sound behind the seal tight door. I just turned eighteen today, and now I will set foot outside this chamber for the first time.The door opened making way for the outdoor air to enter my room to my nostril.
A man in a white lab coat and gloves, entered my white chamber and lamented in the view of me and my bandages around my body. I looked at him straight not allowing myself to look naive seeing a being for the first time. He set aside and told me to watch my step as I go. It felt good leaving this place. A streak of light flashed before my eyes. The man behind me closed the door and walked beside me holding my bandaged covered hands. As we go, I can feel the grass under my ticklish feet with bandages. Seeing dewy raindrops on the leaves, butterflies, and trees on the way to a place where I never gone before. A place where everything seemed to be pitch black all of a sudden.
We came upon a place where tombstones, crosses, and an old church house as placed in the midst of the forest. The man is now wearing a groom's suit and still holding my hand. My body is no longer in bandages but is now covered in an elegant gown of black. As we continued on walking, everything seems to fade as if seeing them was just a mistake. I can't turn back, I want to turn back but the darkness behind me is keeping my eyes look forward. Again, as I look unto the man, his head became a skull. Smiling as he looked at me all the same almost as if telling me to be prepared with those empty oblivious eyes. He held my other hand and said "Welcome, to the otherside".
