Listening to the blues
Me : Blues is so powerfull! Music at its origin. Restoring happiness and courage. Enjoy !
A lovely blues lover : Yup! You said that right happiness and courage !
Research as an open process
Art is contextual, we are all products of our society and we are what we are because we lived what we lived. This is also the idea of materialism in philosophy and the question of the artist’s property in contemporary art.
The artist is a researcher describing his reality with his senses and feelings in forms that produces meanings on its own. This means that through all the process the artist does not own his ideas but the process itself. He is responsible of his own choices but his ideas did not came out of nowhere, it had a life before and after his exhibitions his ideas but also his work will continue to live without him in the society.
Research is an open process; we do not own our ideas. The society does! All we can sell is our work.

Second part of my elder work presented on my 3rd degree final exam. These ones are the interactives ones.
Here are some photos of my elder works that were presented for my exam to get the 3rd degree last year. Description are in the photos.
About me
Hi there! My name is Alexandre Lebon. I'm 20 and I'm a student in the Art School from "La Réunion" (a French island located in the Indian Ocean) and by the ERASMUS exchange program i'll be studying in the Academy of Fine Arts from Vienna for a year.
My work is about music and its perception, forms and depths. I'm interrested in its ability to touch almost everyone - how it could touch more people - and at the same time be source of cognitive and sensitive pleasure though Contemporary Art.
Last year I got my graduation for my 3rd year and it allowed me to hold some ideas and definitions that should be important to the research i'm going to be involved in. This blog would be like an open workshop and a recall mind map to me so please feel free to get involved in too!
Today I'm starting a blog! More will come ;)
