It is believed that this Yōkai arose as part of an ancient story, in which the infidelities of a nobleman to his wife who eventually discovered them is narrated, likewise full of resentment he decided to poison the tea he always drank, once he died he took charge of dismember his body but still carrying the guilt I keep one of his eyes, Those beautiful eyes that once filled her with a deep calm and the tongue with which she pronounced all her false promises, enclosing them in the same cup that caused her death and that is how after a while this cup took charge of all this hatred and resentment, causing in the house an atmosphere of loneliness and sadness that led to the suicide of his wife.
