I've been mauling this through for the past couple of days .. and I've decided to separate Geri the Barça legend from Gerard the person who has greatly disappointed me. So...

To Geri,

I don't think there are words to fully describe what Geri meant to el Barcelonisme.. nor would we find the words, I'm sure, fitting what Barça meant to him... On and off the pitch.

It truly is an end of an era, an era impacted by his figure, his love for the Club and his Culer persona which ticked off so many people in the Casa Blanca.. and that only made him an even more loved symbol.

I don't think I can add to much of what he himself said .. "Vaig néixer aquí i aquí moriré" are plenty enough to sum Geri up.
