I just get so upset as a fan and as someone who's queer that Liam always get excuses (all the boys do but that's besides the point) for saying extremely hurtful and homophobic things. I see posts on my dash about how Liam's hurting with drinking problems and body image issues, and while I hope he can overcome these struggles and come out happier and stronger that does not excuse his many homophobic or inappropriate comments. Especially as these comments are not done ignorantly the fans react and he sees this (we see more than you think) and continues to not care (I do appreciate honesty just not bigotry). I'm so done with this band and how it continues to hurt me and invalidate my identity as someone on the lgbtqa+ spectrum. Yet again this is not to say he does not struggle with issues that no one should have to struggle with, but these issues do not make his hurtful comments to his incredibly impressionable fanbase and to the lgbtqa+ community as a whole okay.

i dont even wanna be mean but its kinda funny how liam gets annoyed with rainbow flags because he automatically thinks its from the entire concept of ‘larry’ but then harry (the one whose part of the actual ship) is racing around stage with the flags and stuff, just kinda funny. two different people. two different reactions.
