On the Atlantic shore of North Carolina is nestled a seemingly innocuous little city called Phantom’s Wharf. Brimming with old architecture, little museums, mom-and-pop stores, and a distinct sense of community, it seems to be the idyllic American town.

But this city also lays claim to a very strange history. The people of Phantom’s Wharf have all heard the stories - and added their own based on personal experience - about strange vanishings, mysterious deaths, buildings moving across town sometime in the middle of the night, unidentifiable runes carved into trees, and that odd icy chill they get when they walk through certain doorways.

Many people attribute this to the town being haunted, and this is the story they give to the tourists. The reality? Simple: magic. The mundane half of the town’s population lives blissfully unaware of Phantom’s Wharf’s thriving magical community, filled with people experimenting and exploring in any branch of magic they can find.

This secret staunchly buried, the magic and the mundane live harmoniously in this town. Or at least, they did. As of late, some people have grown a little tired of sharing…

I don’t see any reason why not! Brec has similar eyes and face shape to Ian, so I’ll be looking for mothers with similar noses and lips. Favorites are bolded.

You may have noticed that this blog went a little silent the last few days. I miscalculated my queue, and it ran out while I was preparing for my sister’s bridal shower. However, after months of on-and-off preparation, I’m going to be moving over to my new RPH blog in the next week. I’ll post the last of the FC help that is in the inbox, as well as the full review and family template that has been requested. After/in the midst of that, this blog will go dead and just be used as an archive. I’ll post my new url soon and start taking requests over there!
